False advertisement, poor quality, company has no desire to fix issues
Upon receiving the parcels, all parts appear previously used with markings (powder coating is scraped off, markings showing previous assembly.)There are missing end protectors out of Piece 3. Piece 8 is missing entirely. Some pieces appear bent. Most fasteners were already in their homes and not in their designated bag. Washers are missing and are not allocated to any specific fasteners.Pictures can be supplied as well.I am extremely disappointed and the product did not meet the expectations based from the reviews and reputation of the company

Worth the money if you want to take sim racing to another level!
I recently bought the GTR GTA simulator to upgrade from my wheel stand pro. I first mounted my logitech g29 to the rig (fanatec took some time delivering). Then finally mounted a fanatec csl elite wheelbase (PS4) and elite loadcell pedals. IMPORTANT...the rig comes with the necessary mounting wholes for the g29 (and others) but not Fanatec! You have to measure and drill those yourself.Sitting in the rig instantly improves that racing feeling compared to sitting at a desk or couch with a wheel stand. No doubt is a space commitment and this is a rig you don't want to mess with once you have your settings dialled in. On that note, it has serious adjustability for drivers of any size. I'm 6ft5...230lbs...fit very comfortably. The rig is extremely stable, well built and you have the option to add other features from GTR (TV mount).ConsGTR needs to hire the guy from Ikea who does they're installation guides. It is not straight forward by any means BUT if you have some degree of handy skills...you'll be fine.Fanatec wheel bases and pedal mounting wholes not supported. I don't understand why to be honest but Fanatec does supply drilling templates. I just printed those off, measured a bunch then used a simple hand drill. Worked great but probably involves a little more of those handy skills. Note...pedal wheel base did have several of the necessary wholes but I still had to drill 3 for the top pedal mounts.Overall great product, hopefully they fix those simple issues one day but if your a slightly larger fellow...can't recommend this enough.

Great design, top quality build
THE SHIPPINGOrder was shipped quickly and delivered within the time expected.THE PACKAGINGPackaging was top class: all metal parts individually wrapped and in little labeled boxes inside a larger box, making it easier to identify parts referred in the assemble guide. The seat came bubble wrapped, in a separate box. Overall perfect packing, all arrived in minty condition.ORDER ISSUES AND ASSEMBLE PROCESS EXPERIENCEA few things were different from the pictures featuring here at Amazon:* Seat was all black. Contacted manufacturer and they offered to replace the all black by a black and red as soon as it comes in stock again.* Frame had a different design - Unexpected.* Frame design was different than the one shown in the included assemble guide flyer. This made it hard to figure it out how to assemble the gear shifter and wheel support parts. I emailed the manufacturer about it and they emailed me a PDF with the new 2018 design assembly guide within minutes. Five stars customer service!* Missing two screws to fix seat's side plastic covers. Cosmetic, and the manufacturer quickly mailed me replacement screws within the same week. Again, awesome customer service!Luckily, another Amazon user posted pictures of the 2018 new design on his product review. These user pictures were very helpful on figuring out how to complete the frame’s assemble.Having the assemble guide very short and not very clear, plus receiving a unit with a different design than the one shown in the assemble guide, made the assemble process unnecessarily hard. It took me a total of over 3 hours to get it up and ready to install my steering wheel. That said, now that I know how to set up the 2018 frame, it would take me 45 to 60 min to set up another one, if that much. It is not hard, only that instructions were severely lacking.DESIGN AND QUALITYPROS:* Extra firm and stable.* Solid solder joints and great quality material.* Classy, high quality nice finish.* Seat looks good and is solid, but lacks lumbar support. Additionally, cushioning is a little too hard for longer racing/practicing sessions.* Overall excellent ergonomy for an average adult or teenager, thanks to how adjustable the frame is.* New 2018 design includes more holes to fix all models of wheels, pedals and shifters.* Pedals base in solid metal, with adjustable angle.* New 2018 design includes more predrilled holes to fit a large number of steering wheels, pedals and shifters.* Wheel base support allows for angle adjustment.CONS:* Wheel base support is now placed higher than the old design. When using it with a G920, G29, G27 and G25, the setup ends slightly higher than ideal for users under 6 feet high. I am 5’9” and it is a little too high for me. Even taking in consideration that the wheel should be set higher for racing than for normal driving.* Wheel base support angle adjustment lacks precision - It has only three angles, not allowing precise angle adjustments. I had to come up with a "mod" to get my "perfect angle".* Shifter support does not allow for any adjustment of height, angle or distance from seat. Nevertheless, the shifter positioning was okay for my height and arm length.CONCLUSIONThe 2018 GTA model is an amazing sim racing cockpit: solid, not too heavy, easy to move around when on carpet, great quality, shipping and packaging. Customer service was also five stars. Although it is not 100/100 perfect, there is nothing else on the market at this price point that gets even close. To get a better cockpit you will have to spend at least 2 to 3 times more. I 100% recommend the this cockpit for sim racing of all skills.

Good for the price, good initial quality with some shortcomings
Just got this a couple of days ago, and probably spent ~8hrs on the simulator in 2 days..I have it set up with Logitech G27, with the whole rig sitting on a 1" thick yoga mat on my hardwood floor to protect the floor - will probably switch out the yoga mat with something else later..Pros:- once all put together, it feels very sturdy except for 1 joint - more on that on the cons- the seat is pretty comfortable. If I were sitting in a real car, I would like the seat to be tighter, but since I'm not actually getting thrown around in corners, this is perfectly comfortable.- good overall adjustability (for the price), albeit with a couple of adjustments that I wish it had - more on that on the cons- black color is a plus for me as it can sit relatively stealthy on the side of my living room or gameroom when not in useCons- the plate where the steering wheel mounts has significant play in it - think of steering wheel tilt. When making steering adjustments quickly, you suddenly get a weird sensation the steering is going a little light, and it's not force feedback understeer - it was the steering wheel mount tilting giving the feel of the steering going light... but I got used to it quickly enough. still pretty annoying- 2 adjustments I wish this had: Steering wheel "telescope" - when I set my seat to where its comfortable for my legs on the pedals, the steering wheel is a bit too far where my arms are straightened too much for good control. similarly, I wish the shifter mount could be adjustable to be closer to me.Other thoughts:- The shipment comes in 2 separate boxes. One of the boxes was delayed behind by a day, and FedEx listed the reason as the label being unreadable.. that sounded like the box was damaged including the original label. Sure enough, when the second box arrived, it had a big hole on a corner of the box about 8 inches big with that corner crumpled in, along with various other 2~3 in holes on a few sides of the box. I have no idea if the box's condition was like that from the beginning or just got beat up by FedEx on the way or a little bit of both. Good thing I decided to work from home to bring it inside right away, as it was pouring all day the day this box was delivered. Otherwise the seat would've got soaked and mold would started growing in the seat..I think part of the reason the box was so damaged is... well, the box had no packing material to fill it up.. It just had the seat bottom / seat back in 1 layer of bubble wrap, and the rest was just empty space / air. The box is of course going to get crumpled / damaged during shipping. In my mind, it is a huge oversight by the manufacturer of the product. I should deduct a couple of stars for that to be honest, but since the damage was limited to the box, I'll let that go... Note to the manufacturer: PLEASE DO A BETTER JOB OF PACKING YOUR PRODUCT!!!
