One of the best pairs of gloves ever...
And I've owned more pairs of different gloves than I could ever count. Youngstown delivered yet another great glove for me. Durability is through the roof, and they actually stay dry inside (waterproof should mean, ya know, waterproof!). Never had to use the fireproof feature, so I can't speak to that. Nor it's cut resistance. But just going off the extremely durable feel I'm confident they are cut and fire resistant. Size large fits my "normal" male hands great.

Great product, a little pricey
Features are exactly what I need for cutting/splitting wood in the winter. Kevlar protection is a must, waterproofness is great. So far very durable.

Yes! I found them!
I found them! An outdoor waterproof winter chore glove with at least some dexterity over the usual winter gloves. They even come in small sizes. These are superior to all other gloves I have ever owned. Repairing fences just got a whole lot easier.

Don't buy them for warmth
Manufacturers description, "Youngstown Glove's FR Waterproof Leather Utility lined with Kevlar is a winterized", "The waterproof and windproof nature of this glove will enable workers to keep their hands warm and dry during the winter months while still having a superior level of protection." I am not so sure about the "warm" comment to be factual. Used them today along with my Carhartt coveralls in 40 degree temps and 16 mph wind to work in the yard and my hands were NOT warm. May make a good pair of work gloves but they are not "winter months" gloves in my opinion. Will be looking for a better pair of warm winter gloves.......

You get what you pay for...excellent gloves
Great gloves so far. Probably an overkill for using with fire pit and moving logs but better safe than sorry. Fifth star would have been awarded if they were slightly longer just for that added security when reaching in. Supple material, feel broken in from the beginning. Comfortable to wear.

Best Cold Weather Glove
Very durable for cold weather linework. Hand stays dry and liner is sewed in so the finger stay put when you take the glove off. Definitely recommend for wnduring the elements.

Not for fuel truck drivers
I bought 2 pairs of these gloves for doing fuel truck deliveries in the winter. While they were comfortable, each pair only lasted about 2 weeks before the stitching in the fingers started coming apart. At $70+ a pair and their claim that they are for oil and gas, I expected at least 6 months of use. Especially since I bought 2 pairs so I could alternate and keep the BO down.On a side note, I did call the Youngstown company and left a polite message and emailed them as well. CRICKETS. I have heard nothing from them by phone or email. I was really hoping they would stand by their product and maybe use my gloves for R&D to make a better product or maybe even guide me to what would work for my current career if I bought the wrong item.I’m disappointed but not disgruntled. It has been the holidays and I’m still in the spirit. If Youngstown wants to reach out to me, I am still open to a better outcome

These are the best work gloves I have ever had
These are the best work gloves I have ever had. I burn through at least one pair of leather work gloves every month: the fingers give out. However, these gloves are going 4 months, and not a single tear or rip. Highly recommended.
