great camera for 24/7 recording
After my previous camera from Yi started to charge for continuous recording, I decided to get this camera since I am already using Eufy for my other security needs. This one paired easily and was simple to mount (I opted for the sticky 3M adhesive pad rather than drilling). The magnetic mount is strong and has a wide range of motion although I do wish the angle was a little bit more in my case. The included charging cable is very long so it should not be too difficult to mount away from the power source. It has a waterproof sheath and the camera itself has a waterproof cover for the microsd card/sync button. Should stand up to rain or snow just fine. The quality is very good for 1080p (much better than my previous camera) and 24/7 recording works very well. Can do up to 16x scrub although it would be nice for 32x. Miles better than what I previously had which was manual scrubbing through footage and this one is MUCH faster and more responsive, although recommend having a fast/strong Wi-Fi connection for this. I turned off the floodlight feature as I do not need it but I did test and it seemed to be fairly bright if you are mounting closer to the ground level. Overall, a very affordable option for 24/7 recording if this is the application you need it for, but it can act as a home security monitor or baby monitor (has cry detection).

So far I am very impressed with this small but effective camera.
This camera is very easy to set up. Yes, you have to run the USB power cable to it, but I mounted it on the outside of my garage so drilling a hole in the wall to feed the cable out was not an issue. The wireless works great, and setup was very fast and easy. The camera quality is excellent and the fact that the motion detection activates a small but effective spot light to illuminate at night means you get quality color images as well. It also has a great microphone and speaker so I can hear what is happening as well as the ability to speak, or activate the alarm, which is surprisingly loud. The phone app also works very well, and allows the user to set up a schedule and activate or deactivate the functions like recording, notification, spotlight and alarm. I do get some false alarm notifications due to leaf movement, etc, but I have not tried to set up the "active" zones yet. The notifications are great short videos with sound and a thumbnail image is presented with what is believed to be the "human" or whatever the software detected as motion, so it is easy to review a set of notifications quickly and delete them if they are not valid. I had to travel on short notice and wanted some peace of mind, and this camera performed very well, and was quick to set up. I'll most likely get at least one more of these.

Works as described
Easy installation if close to power outlet. Images are clear in daylight and at night. Spotlight is not as bright as I would like but it works OK. No issues with WIFI Connection. Integrsated seemlessly with other EUFY Cameras and APP.

Best out there thus far.
Since Amazon bricked it's Cloud Cams (thanks Amazon!) I have been searching for replacements that most closely resembled what they provided. Their Blink Mini replacements are a macabre joke (and Amazon isn't letting you post a review accordingly). I used the Cloud Cams for 5 unfailing years to check in on my 90+ year old parents, while my father enjoyed watching the one we had covering the street on his Echo Show, from safely inside his home. After much research, the short list was Wyze and Eufy. I tried Wyze first since I was familiar with them and preferred their box aesthetics, which also more easily let you apply them to a window when needed. Well, the 8 Wyze Pro 3 cams not only didn't work with our Echo/Firestick devices, at all, but we also were not able to pull up the recordings on the Wyze app itself without getting an error 9. However, they were fantastic when we viewed them live. My conclusion is that they are still in Beta. We don't have the time, nor the ability to be beta testers.I just finished installing the 8 Eufy cams. They are working wonderfully. Easily connected them to Alexa and am able to view them on both the Echo Show and the Firestick TV. They are disappointly cutting off the live view at 10 minutes, but after researching have discovered this is being caused by Amazon and not even Blink nor Ring cameras (both Amazon brands) are providing the unlimited live view we enjoyed with the bricked Cloud Cams. Amazon has become the 800lbs gorilla. Sad.The Eufys feel solidly built. The included 20' cord is also high quality and much longer than others offer. The magnetic bases are fantastic for adjusting but they are not secure and there really isn't a way to secure them (except for perhaps double sided gel tape which negates the ease in adjusting) so you just have to hope they are not stolen. The video is crisp. Night vision is good. We chose not to use the spotlight since it broadcasts that there is a camera in range. Some might want that, so it's nice to have the option.Overall, these are the winners, with just a couple of caveats. They would be near perfect for us if Amazon stopped limiting live view times.
