Quality build, easily fits on the floor in the back seat for storage. The 12" model is the only steps/ramp we have ever found to accommodate a small side door opening. The dogs love it too! Steps are sturdy, the carpeted tops provide perfect grip, and each step is long enough to comfortably allow use of the adjustable slope. Bought the 5 step for occassional use with a truck and easily converted to 3 step for daily use.

The Good; This rises to the top of the back seat in our Ford F250. The stairs are carpeted. It glides up and down very smoothly. It folds compactly.The Bad; There is nothing to grab onto to unfold or put the stairs back together without getting your fingers pinched. The stairs are too narrow for an old 135# Great Dane. You must find the exact spot to set the base down on the ground or it sits in an angle and/or wobbles. (You also need a second car space worth of room when using it since this is used for the side doors). It's too large to store in the back seat with our dog so it must go in the truck bed - and I simply cannot hoist 30 pounds over my head.Sadly, it's going back. I really wish this one would have worked. I gave this 1 star more than I gave the Guardian Gear 4-Step Auto Ramp review.
