Good for shaving parmesan
Stays sharp and work well for shaving/grating parmesan and the the plastic cover provides protection. I only hand-wash this item because similar plastics can degrade over time in my dishwasher.

Perfect for hard cheeses!
Makes perfect shavings! Soft cheese like havarti leaves it a little messy, but the harder cheeses go through with no problem. The included catch tray/cover is very appreciated as well!

Shaves food like a boss. Don't use on people just food.

I bought this as I wanted something easy to grip and with a container - this works on both counts, but it doesn't grate finely enough, I'm going to have to see if I can get a finer part for it. Also it's very easy to catch fingernails.
