Shimano 5569 6 and 7-Speed Tourney Derailleur - Black

Purchased this and a new chain to spruce up my hybrid bike as part of my Covid/cycle to work commute. Worked very well for two weeks, but halfway through my morning commute in London to the Hospital where I work, it decided to derail both itself and myself under a London bus. No explanation - I wasn't changing gears, it just wrapped the chain around its mechanism, bent itself, got caught in the wheel spokes, and tipped me out. Good price but bad results.

Bought as part of a refurbishment of my 2009 Raleigh Pioneer Metro - Straightforward to replace, though it was bigger than the old worn-out one, so it took a lot of adjustment to get it to work right at first. But work right it does - Been on a few rides with it now and it's performing as I expect it to. Good stuff.

It did not come with tllhe hanger screw. The product image in a amazon has hanger screw but the deliverd product has no hanger screwWhat is the point having derailleur without able to fix it?

I got it fitted to the bike with a new chain as old one was no good but don`t know if it works ok as waiting on a wire to come as that was no good as well
