after reading the reviews I knew these were going to be "cheapie" plastic fish when I ordered them. But they were just what I was looking for to put in an aquarium where prior to these plastic visitors it was a place where fish went to die. these little guys are so funny. some float. but they float straight up and down and not on their side, and as the day goes on they sink a little lower in the water. to get them to "swim" the filter really has to blast the water, but I'm ok with that. their little tails move...just, if you watch closely. and people who think they are real at first glance usually have a good laugh when they watch for a half hour and they finally figure it out. I wish there had been more variety in the selection sent however, It states clearly they will be random. the fish are cute, cheap and fun. they are exactly what I expected. actually a little better than I expected. for 7 bucks it was a good value. I would recommend them to others, if they aren't expecting too much. they are not real, they are not mechanical, or robots, just little plastic bobbles in the water.

The term “random” selection is misleading. Quality aside I received half orange and half yellow fish and they were NOT as pictured. Returned. I got a hold of Lightahead here in the US and super customer service got exactly what I saw in the picture. I was so upset I didn’t even open them to see what the quality was like so I have no comment there.

Drill a small hole through the lower fin. Take fish line. Add a split shot on one end and about every couple inches tie on a fish. Drop the sinker in front of a jet of water from the filter and the fish will move around. I have one Glofish and they like company. This helped at first but now the fish is no longer fooled. Once this fish has lived its 'long & happy life' that ends me caring for my daughters fish.

Not what I expected

Fish are not realistic in design or "assorted" as the title suggests. They are each one color with a few black details. Two arrived without tails. That being said, I bought them for my cat, who loves fishing them out of the tub and carrying them around. She doesn't care if they have tails: they are fun either way (and even seems to favor the tail-less ones. Maybe they're easier to catch?). They float nicely in the water and move around with the current according to the direction of the tail, and the weight inside makes a cute clicking noise when afore mentioned cat tosses them around. Worth the price, would purchase again.

I was anxiously awaiting this shipment to use in my tank of somewhat realistic looking, as picture showed.Was highly disappointed in what was sent. Dorky looking ones with stars on them.YUK !If some were realistic looking I would have been ok with them, lesson learned not to trust this company. But all of them dorky, don’t cut it!Do not trust! Do not buy!You Will not receive what you think you are buying!Returning this product!

Please make sure to look through all of the photos on the listing before purchasing these fish. They do not have the cute patters as shown in the first few pictures. Instead, they have a black moon and stars painted on them. The black painting on the fins doesn't line up with the plastic fin, and the paint was already chipping when I received them. They are roughly cut out of plastic, leaving jagged edges along the side. The nice thing about them is the moving tail fin, but they are so light (hollow plastic) that there is nothing to keep them from just floating to the top of the water. If you're wanting something to sink slight, this is not the product for you.I didn't expect anything amazing for the price, but I could have gotten a pack of fish of the same quality at the dollar store.

No, they are not as picturedbut they are very nice to look at.I thought they were smaller onesthen these are But ill make them workI had bought a fish tank. Which has smaller fish in it. Only 3 came with it. I was trying to make them. But its a plain tank So these will add to the decor.
