THEY WORK A TREAT
Our black Labrador was suffering symptoms of lameness in his front legs & we visited our vet who started a course of steroid injections to help him. We also took him for swimming & physioterapy to try & help him. During our visits to the physiotherapist she asked If we had considered sprints. We hadn’t.We purchased one & started using it. We noticed an improvement virtually straight away in the one leg with the splint. One side effect which we hadn’t considered was that he was putting his paws down differently which meant one of his nails which been growing too long started to wear down.At next visit to the physiotherapist she was pleased with the his improvement & suggested that we purchased a second splint. This we have done & continue his improvement. So all in all in all we are extremely pleased with the splints. However the VELCRO used for fastening tends to collect grass & weeds especially after swimming in the canal.

Decent for my Springer
My dog (springer spaniel) has a bit of a dodgy wrist so this helps make sure the joint is stable when he goes for walks or goes upstairs in his later years. It appears to help stabilize his joint, i wouldn't leave it on permanently though as if its on slightly too tight for too long the foot can swell and it looks scary! After my dog broke his left front leg we believe he overstressed his right front leg to compensate during that time which left his wrist joint 'bigger' and looks like a problem so this product helps us to feel more at ease and hopefully helps him out too.

Didn't stay on the leg properly
I bought these because my 10 month bull mastiff was limping for some time and felt she needed some support. I bought large which seems fine fitting around the leg - everything seems to do up where it's supposed to, but it keeps slipping down and then rubbing further down around her top pad. They seem well made, hence the two stars, but an expensive purchase to find it's not usable. Would be nice to have a diagram or some guidance on where on the leg it should fit too.

Not very impressed. They,r extremly dear and my Staff wont wear them as they slipped down over her foot before we got to the top of the road. I would have sent them back but i,d written my address in them incase my girl lost them . She does this with everything she wears at some stage ... So i,m not very happy as i brought 2!!!!!
