Chalk Ink 1MMWWFINEWHITE Fine Tip Wet Wipe Marker, 1 mm, Chalk White

I bought this pen along with a dozen 4oz spice jars and small round chalk board labels because I use few of the spices in regular pre-printed labels.Silly me! I expected "fine tip" to be just that. Sadly, it is way too thick to use on small labels - virtually impossible if the word has more than four letters. Any more than four and the label looks very untidy and cramped.Besides which, the first time you inadvertently put your finger on the label the ink begins to smudge. By the third or fourth time it is almost impossible to read.Piece of junk

Finally a true fine tip chalk marker! Others say fine tip and yet they are not truly fine. This marker is great for my family chalkboard calendar. Our daily entries on the calendar get a bit busy but with this fine tip marker, we can still read what's written. I am hoping they'll make this marker in various colors as I like to put calendar entries for different family members in different colors. But for now, I'll be happy with just having all the entries legible even if all of them are in white.

This is a wonderful chalk ink marker. The ink comes out in a solid, opaque white with no ink spread. It actually sits on top of the labels I used in an even line. After depressing the nib several times the ink starts flowing with no skipping. The line made by this pen is 1mm wide. This allows accurate writing on chalkboard lables as small as 1.5-inch as well as other smooth non-porous surfaces! Because the ink from this pin sits on top of the surface, it wipes away cleanly with a damp cloth or paper towel! Sweet!The nib is somewhat bullet shaped. The shaft appears to be about 2mm wide but narrows to 1mm at the tip. Similar to a paint pen, the tip has a springy mount that you must hold vertically and depress a couple of times to get the chalk ink to flow. The material seems very rigid and has withstood to this pressure without widening. I've used the pen 6 or seven times, and have written out maybe 30 lables or so (with the occasional error and re-write ;P), since purchase and the line width is still 1mm! I am very impressed with this pen.

I've been using this marker to update my monthly calendar for almost a full year and it is still going strong! It writes very easily and is the perfect size for writing in smaller spaces. My calendar is a black dry erase board, and I have been using a damp paper towel to wipe it down each month, then I follow with a dry towel. I haven't had any issues with residue from the marker, which is awesome because the calendar is holding up well!

This is probably the best chalk marker that I have tried and I have tried several different brands. The ultra fine 1mm tip is so much better than the thicker ones for writing on smaller surfaces like chalk board labels. The ink is nice and bright and concentrated. No streaking! I will definitely buy this one again when I run out of ink.

Perfect for writing on acrylic. shows up bold and I don't have to write over it again to make it look good! Only thing I don't like is how easily it wipes off, you don't really need to wet it in order for it to wipe, so if you want a permanent stay, I wouldn't order the wipe off ones, but if your like me and make mistakes its fine!

I used this to write on easel for my wedding menu. Con: The ink is nice and bright and concentrated. After shaking it and pressing hard on the tip for quite a few seconds, it writes very well. It wasn't dried out at all. If I made a mistake, I was able to use water to erase it. You have to let it dry for a few minutes otherwise it might smear. Overall, it is a great chalk marker.

I bought this to label my bulk storage bins with blackboard-style appearance. My earlier marker was too wide, and only got wider with use, so the labels became nonreadable. This marker does a great job.
