Our elderly dog could no longer hack it in the boot with the big girls but we didn’t want to take out the backseat hammock we’d used in the past. Came across this bed and although pricey it’s worth it. It has straps to secure it around the back of the seat as well as those visible above the backrest that clip around the seat’s headrest. The strap that clips to your dog’s collar (initially we clipped it to her harness as we thought that might be safer in a collision, but due to the frequent entanglements she got herself into we opted to clip onto the collar as there was better range of movement with it) is attached to the seat behind the edge of the cushion, so it’s discreet and difficult to be chewed at. The bed appears to be very comfortable and well liked; my dog travels well in it! The added bonus is the pockets integrated into the cover on both sides - great for stashing a roll of poop bags and a lead etc. after one has loaded their pawsenger in. The cool mat that’s included seems to do the trick - no complaints during the heatwave of being too hot, though I’m not sure how convinced I am of its effectiveness! Love the seat, love how stylish and privileged my dog looks when she’s fast asnooze on our drives, love that it keeps her safe ☺️

I bought this for a three month old puppyAfter three uses the puppy pulled at it and seatbelt ripped away from the seat/ and fell in carIt is not sturdy or suitable and needs redesigning if three month puppy can rip out a seatbelt. Thankfully not had accident as puppy could have been unsafe

It’s very comfy and he often falls asleep in it. The only frustrating thing is it’s stretched out a little as it’s expanded, so it’s now bigger than the seat. It seems to just get bigger and bigger, but he’s happy so I would buy it again.

Nightmare to wash as cover does not come off and therefore the stuffing inside moves and makes it lumpy in places. Ours ripped after 2 weeks of using it & its really not practical. Wish I'd of saved my money and not bought it.
