It's not paper but it's not like a flimsy soft sheet either. It's a consistency of a mix of the two. Its kind of like a stiff tablecloth. I did use a low iron on it to get out wrinkles. I'm sorry it's hard to describe what this is like.

Could you roll it up to put it away or would you set it up once and use from then on?

I set it up only when I need it and then I roll it up carefully and put it away as long as you roll it carefully the wrinkles don’t come back!

definitely big enough (7x5 is 7 feet by 5 feet.). I used this for my video chats and loved how it looked on video
