We played this at my 11 yr olds birthday but fun for all ages, lots of laughs

We love this game! Lots of fun playing with friends and family. Often we laugh so hard it's hard to continue to play the game.

This is a very fun game for all ages and really makes your brain work! The mouthpieces really stretch your mouth, but that's the point!One downside, if you're not too careful, is they might scratch your gums or push on them too much when trying to speak. But they have two different sizes so it fits a variety of people!

This game is super fun

I was excited to order and play this game with my family. I was nervous because I read a couple of reviews where people were complaining the cheek retractors hurting and being unable to play. The edition that I bought (Ultimate Edition) came with two sizes. The larger sizes worked good for my wife and I, while the smaller sizes worked good for my kids (8,10, and 12). My daughter said that it was hurting her gums when she first put the mouth piece in but I just told her to push her lips out like she is making a kissing face and this immediate relieved the gum sensitivity. Also I'd recommend only putting in the mouth piece when it is your turn to play so your cheeks don't get too tired. Lots of laughing and the ultimate addition comes with a ton of cards. Some of the other reviews had said there weren't enough cards so they went through them too fast (I believe this may have been with the standard edition). If you're looking for a fun game and don't mind looking/sounding silly and maybe some drool... this game is great.

SO MUCH FAMILY FUN!My sister bought the original game pack with extra mouth pieces and had it mailed to my house for Thanksgiving with the family. We had so much fun, we were crying from laughing so hard. The whole family/extended family got along for HOURS and we played this so long that by the second day of playing we had started knowing what people were saying because we could remember the cards.So, I looked for the expansion packs for Christmas game time. I checked their actual website and they wanted to charge me a CRAZY amount for shipping, so I checked here on Amazon and found a better deal.I bought family expansion pack #1 and #2 so we would have a variety of cards to go through and we wouldn't remember cards so easily. (I also bought expansion packs from other games with different brand names.) Again, we played for hours and had so much fun!Cards are easy to read, we have ages from 10-65, and when the younger kids couldn't understand a word or didn't know it we allowed them to grab another card and move along. Cards are heavy duty and nicely made.If you are looking for a family game BUY THIS GAME AND THE EXPANSION PACKS! I promise you won't be disappointed! When we have a lot of people and play games there always seems to be fighting amongst us. Especially the younger members. There were no fights for this game! Just keep the tissues ready for the tears of laughing/joy and the bathroom clear so you don't pee your pants laughing too hard!!** The plastic pieces that come with the ACTUAL game (they're not included in this expansion pack, there are only cards) can be uncomfortable or drying to your lips after awhile, I recommend keeping chapstick on hand so your lips don't dry out. I also recommend clearing food from your mouth before playing so your partner doesn't get distracted by food particles stuck randomly in your teeth :) Order extra plastic mouth pieces to have on hand so there is always enough for everyone at all times! These also sanatize very easily.You guys, I was reading other reviews and I was interested to read that people didn't realize this came with just the cards. I guess I did research and realized what I was ordering, because I specifically was looking for just the cards. This is only cards to add to the game you hopefully already have, or to buy WITH the original game that comes with mouth pieces. These cards will work for any game of this type, not just this brand. Again, order extra of these mouth pieces too so everyone can have their own!

My family had a lot of laughs playing this game, but I feel like it's only good for one evening of fun, which makes it pretty expensive as compared to many board games with nearly unlimited replay potential.There are a few issues, but the main one being that there just aren't enough cards. Once you've played through them one time it's easy enough to recall what a card was supposed to say, and then the fun of guessing is lost. If you're playing with 6-8 players as we were, with the recommended 4 rounds per game, then you will only get about 2 games in before you'll have seen all the cards. I know there are expansion packs, but those cost another ~$15, for another 1, 2, maybe 3 plays? That doesn't seem worth it to me. Many, many more cards need to be supplied in the base game. I'm thinking on the order of the card packs used in Cards Against Humanity, or old school Trivial Pursuit. It needs to be a LOT.I should mention that the number of cards you go through in any given game is of course contingent on your success at guessing what your partner is trying to say. We played with kids and adults together (kids, parents, and grandparents). The 'parents' generation was definitely the most successful when teamed together and we should have renegotiated teams to help keep everyone else competitive. So YMMV on how many cards you can actually get through in one game, and the same would go for the expansion packs.Quality-wise, the box and the cards were sturdy and should hold up well. However, we had two of the mouth retractors break the first time we played, so playing with the whole family again means I'd have to buy another set of those too. Also, the game is listed as being good for players 8+, but my 9-yo niece was not able to fix the child size retractor into her mouth without it being too painful, so she was not full included. That of course was a disappointment for everyone.Overall I'm glad we tried it, we really did have a fun time. Oh I would also say that if you're particularly sensitive to 'potty humor' I would opt for the family version over the standard version of the game. It does tend to skew that way. I would also suggest that it might be even more fun to try a DIY approach to the game. You could make an activity out of making up tongue twisters and silly phrases (kids are pretty great at that), or finding some books at the library for source material, get yourself a mixed pack of dental retractors right here on Good Ol' Amazon, and then play your DIY version and have just as much fun while spending less money.

What fun game , we love to play it , enjoyable for all ages.

Whilst the game is fun, it needs a few warnings. Played this with my family in our new conservatory. Had a real good laugh for well over an hour. Unfortunately, it's a little difficult to contain your slobber and tend to leak a little bit as you can't close your mouth to stop dribbling. 3 out of my 4 family members are still in hospital after slipping on saliva which was all over the floor.It's been 3 weeks since we played and the floor is still damp!
