Ok reel for the price would buy again

Just what I needed for my Catfish reel

Bought 2 for $21 each. Used them surf fishing for a couple weeks and each has brought in 30+ spinner and bonnethead sharks, sting rays, 5 to 15 lbs or so. They still have a bit of life left won't last much longer. Great deal for a disposable reel on vacation or similar situation. If looking for a longterm reel don't waste the $ here but I would buy again for a surf reel I only use for a week or 2 and throw it away. Much better than cheapo walmart reels.

Good for the money

If you take this reel saltwater make absolutely sure you wash it really good afterwards in fresh water or it can bog down on you. Honestly you should do the same with any reel as fishing outfitters will tell you, but this reel wont withstand salt the way an open faced baitcaster for trolling would.

terrible the drag clicker broke immediately, smooth at first then starts to kinda lock up and its crunchy

So happy I pulled the trigger on this reel especially that it helped my land my personal best drum today I landed about 20 fish on it also today and couldn’t be any happier with the performance and smoothness of the reelIt feels good to know we can fish and not have to spend a lot for a reel and still get sharp looking and good quality reels-Joseph
