I'm a retired butcher, I was looking for an EDC that was something different, it was actually the sheath that first caught my eye! I live in Alaska so I like solid and over built, this is the whole package, the sheath mounts vertically or horizontally, left or right side, I carry horizontally on my right, I can draw it very, VERY fast, it stays tight in the sheath, holds and takes a razor edge, and feels solid as the earth itself! If you need a serious, but concealed, rock solid, but beautiful knife, look no further! This is my new best friend! All of that for $60!!! These should be on back order!

I wanted to take a chance on possibly finding a decent knife company that could turn out a quality product. GCS is NOT that company. Where to begin...to start, the knife comes soaked in oil. That always screams low quality steel to anyone familiar with that practice in the knife community. Second, I unwrap the sheath, and it has black permanent marker spots on it. Third, I unwrap the knife, and immediately, I see the worst sharpening job I have ever seen on a blade. It is absolutely terrible. A blind man could do better. Fourth, the tip is dull and has a purplish-brown stain on it from where there overheated the steel and didn't keep it cool while grinding. Fifth, the handle is way too short for this design. That is on me for not putting that together before purchase. All in all, I'd give this knife a half star if I could. It is a complete disappointment, and I will NEVER take a chance on this company again. I don't even understand how they would allow a blade that looks like that leave their factory. Ridiculous.

This was a Christmas gift for my son and he absolutely loved it. Very sharp, the handle was beautiful. I recommend it.

Good quality but bigger then he needed so we returned it.

Pretty dissatisfied with the condition and qc of this product. The knife arrived with 3 large dings on the edge next to the heel. The leather sheath had horrible stiching and inediqute glue yo the strap. Overall, I am mainly disappointed in the quality of the knife over the sheath.
