Cannot see the words from the road due to low contrast
Nice but pointless for us. Unless your house is directly on the pavement, don't expect to see the words. Have had to abandon and start again.

Love this little beaut. I think the print is lasered into the varnish rather than into the slate but for the price this is really lovely. We'll happy. Wanted one for ages.

A nice item the script could be a shade brighter as we are 25m from kerb but can still be read.

Damaged Slate House Signs
Took weeks to arrive and then arrived damaged. Not surprising really. One simple layer of bubble wrap encased in a flimsy cardboard box - all relying on a "fragile" sticker. For something that's supposed to be handmade you'd think they'd take more pride in their packaging. Luckily the chipped off sections were still in the box so I was able to repair for the most part. It's not worth the hassle of trying to replace.
