Great value
For the money, the Seasoned Hickory set looks great... Just as good as the $500 sets. We also purchased the "budget" Skytech safety pilot w/remote system and everything was much easier than expected to install. Tip: Dry fit/place all your components in the fireplace first, then assemble everything (burner, pilot, safety valve, etc.) outside of the fireplace... We did ours on a counter and it made the assembly super easy. Then plop everything back in the fireplace and do the final hookup. As others have said, the feed tubing is a bit delicate and will kink easily if you're not careful. The set came compete with sand and rock wool "embers" which look great. We had no issues with the smell others have mentioned, probably because we have a fully vented flue... Assume all that went up the chimney. This is NOT an unvented set (which are dangerous anyway). Can only be used with an open flue/chimney. Sure Heat products are made by Real Fyre, and the quality is comparable. Again, a great value for the price.

Looks good, works well, easy to install
I bought this one because it was a little less than the others and shipping was free. (I think most of these kits are fairly similar.) I will say that it looks good, and performs well. It came complete and was pretty easy to assemble. I would have given it 5 stars except that the large log was broken in half. There is a note in the box saying that if there are any problems to contact the company. I did and they immediately said sorry and we'll send a new one out. And they did! But it was about a month before it arrived. That's a pretty long time to wait for a broken part with a half assembled product in your fireplace... Other than that, the product is good and the company did eventually take care of the issue.

Your UPS man will hate you for this. Unfortunately some of my pieces were broken, and amazon did end up assisting with providing me a partial refund. It comes with everything you need – holder, u-shaped dual burner w/ manual valve system, embers, logs. You place the logs to make it look real, add glowing embers on the bottom and boom this looks very realistic. The 24 inch version did fill up my fireplace very well which I was concerned about. Please be sure to test your gas line connected correctly before using by putting a little soap water on it and looking for bubbles. Also try to by this used for a nice savings.

Received pretty much in tact
Received pretty much in tact,no big pieces broken off. All parts received. Easy to install. Had no problems with flexible gas line. Need to take your time and bend it slowly. Did not need to purchase any additional parts. Everything needed was included in box. I'm very happy with the final product, looks great.

Quality logs at a good pricfe
Inexpensive realistic log set.Only problem is : the initial burn should provide ventilation since the logs will gas off..THIS PRODUCT COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO INSTALL YOURSELF. SIMPLE TO DO

Great product, price is a bargain
Great product... to install, we bought a flexible pipe from the hardware store rather than using the one included which was not something a home consumer would be familiar with bending without crimping.The logs look relatively real, adding a few extra embers from another vender, the setup works great. fire looks very real.

Great looking set that is a good value!
I bought this to replace a very old log set and was very happy with the look and performance of the set. Although I did not use the enclosed assembly for the natural gas line, everything I needed to replace and update our fireplace set was included. It looks great and performs well! I am super happy with the results! We have a vented gas fireplace and there were no issues with fumes that I had read about in other reviews.

Great product
Beautiful fire without the high price. Doesn't over heat the den (16x32). Broken log was replaced promptly. Easy hookup too.
