I just bought a condo that was heavily smoked in. walls are gross, and the smell is terrible. could i wash the walls with this before painting?

Absolutely! IMHO, it's the best thing out there esp for the money. We've rehabbed plenty of rentals and this is the go-to. Spray it on everything, wait a couple of minutes, and then prepare to be grossed out with what you see. Yikes....it's pretty amazing, albeit disgusting. (Bring tons of rags and buckets of clean water...JS)
