These are not the Joy M. brand hangers I thought I was buying on a "Columbus Day" sale advertised on this product's page, which is why I thought they were half off what I normally pay (looking back now, I see it explicitly says that this is not the same brand in the description text, but I missed that at time of purchase). I now suspect they are always half off what the Joy M. brand charges per hanger, because they are not that brand. With that said, if they were more comparable in quality I'd be happier, but they are not, and the return shipping is too high to make returning them worth it so I'm extra annoyed. At first glance they seem comparable. They are missing the logo, and they are slightly taller. If it was just that, they'd be OK. However, these are more fragile (I've never broken a Joy M. brand hanger, but these snap if you bend them slightly), and the velvet is coarser and leaves black dust on my clothes! It comes off if you rub it with your fingers too. So now I'm stuck with a bunch of hangers that will leave itchy black lint on my clothes.

I love my new hangers! I ordered them for my boyfriend's closet (aka the laundry room) and they look so much nicer than his old wire and plastic hangers. The best thing about this kind of hanger is that it allows more space in your closet because the clothes lay flatter than plastic or wood hangers. The velvet-y material also causes the clothes to somewhat stick to the hanger so they lay flat and nice. Super stoked about these and excited to order another set to replace my wood ones!

I knew these velvety hangers would be nicer than my normal “plastic” ones because they are fancy; however, I was a little surprised by how classy they look. My clothes hang nicely on them and they are not as bulky as the plastic ones. I traded all of my old plastic ones for velvet and was pleased. It is always nice to have a little less clutter in the closet.

Product was good, until the last hanger snapped in my very hands. Did not know how to contact s lover to get a replacement. With paying for quality, to receive it broken right out of the box was very disappointing. Packaging too tightly may have led to this issue.

Not suitable for more than a shirt, or a blouse. One garment only or else it will break. The hanger fabric is velvet smooth but the amount it can hold is not much at all

Very nice! Compar to plastic hanger, this velvet material hanger looks more fancy, just like the hanger I used to see in clothing store. The quality is great too: the frame of it is metal material, which make the hanger more bearable.

Very disappointing product; four successive hangers broke along the bottom when I tried to put lightweight summer pants on them.
