My new favorite coffee.
I've gone through many, many different coffees with varying levels of satisfaction. I tried this coffee in pod form first, and was very impressed by it. But as we all know the pods can be pricey, and generate waste (although the pod form of this coffee is compostable.) So I decided to buy a bag of the beans, and to me this tastes even better than the pods. Of course, that is partially because I can ground the beans fresh and have better control over the brewing process. But I must say that the aroma and flavor of this coffee is superb. The flavor is very smooth and not so acidic and bitter as many other coffees I have tried. I guarantee that if you have a good taste for coffee, you will love this. The caffeine content is really good too. A cup or two of this wakes me right up. And lastly, this coffee is roasted in small batches by a small business, and I believe in supporting small businesses, especially when they make a product as fine as this. These beans are roasted in a small town in Brenham, Texas and I think they've done a fantastic job with their coffee! I've got this set as my coffee subscription now. One thing to note is that while this bag of beans may be slightly more expensive than some value brand coffee, the taste and aroma is unparalleled. You get what you pay for. I encourage anyone to try this great coffee and support this small business and their awesome coffee! I am very happy with this product.

My favorite coffee is Cafe Ole and I no longer live near HEB and they no longer ship. It's a hassle to get it and most other brands are just bitter or otherwise not good. I found out about these randomly and decided to try it. This is great and so much easier to purchase. Woman Owned, also a Texas item - just like the other - and the flavor was very good. Bought more and gave to family as a gift. Very happy with this coffee so far.

Note lite roast
Opened the package yesterday and the bean color is not light, it is a dark roast. The strong coffee flavor confirms it is a dark roast. As far as the flavor, good but has a slight bitter taste. If you're looking for a flavored coffee bean with a strong coffee taste this, is it. If you're looking for a strong flavor and lite coffee flavor, continue looking.

Tasty and nutty
This coffee is delicious. It has a nutty flavor but does not taste like flavored coffee. It tastes very natural. It is on the mild to medium side of the roast, which is great.

it is definitely Pecan flavored, but it has been a while since it got roasted.
The most important thing about buying a whole bean is that you want to buy within a couple of weeks of time of roasting. Because after two weeks later, the flavor starts to decline rapidly. In this coffee bean case, I ordered it wrong, I wanted it regular (without flavored) whole coffee bean, not flavored coffee bean, but due to my mistake, I ordered this Pecan flavored coffee. I could have returned it, but since I opened it already, I did not want to return back which will cost the company. Since it was my own mistake by ordering this, I decided it just to try the coffee.Definitely, it has a lot of pecan flavors, actually too much. The problem of the most of flavored coffee is that those companies tend to use too much flavors to cover up the bad coffee quality and bad roasting. The roasting of this bean wasn't so bad, actually it was evenly roasted, however, it just seems like this coffee was roasted a quite a while ago. So all I can taste was the pecan flavor and some bitterness underneath. Also, it would help if the company can write the roasted date on the bag.
