This is a hand held instant read digital thermometer which has a large easy read lcd screen. It is possible to select between F° or C° and there is an on/off button to conserve battery life. This thermometer can be used in many foods, liquids and solids and has an alarm functions that can be set to the required temperature, no need to guess anymore. It is perfect for using in both kitchens and outside on the BBQ. The probe clicks out straight and then folds back into place for storage. There is a very useful cooking temperature chart on the rear of the thermometer for instant reference to advised cooking temperatures. There are 2 CR2032 batteries included.
