Cut out the Sugar and the Carbs and lose the weight.
If you are following the Atkins diet or are just watching your carbs and sugar, this is a tasty option. It's a delicious granola bar loaded with chocolate chips. You don't feel like you are eating a diet food. This one is my favorite out of the Meal Bars. In July of 2016, I got on the scale after avoiding it for months. I knew I was getting bigger as my size 12 pants were very snug and I was pushing a 14. I weighed 167 pounds. Even though I knew I was getting heavier, it was a shock. I felt miserable, tired and just generally unhappy. I did not want to go out or see anyone. I was depressed. I started the Atkins diet and as of today, I weigh 128 pounds and I wear a size 4. I never thought I would see the day I was a size 4 again. I lost 39 pounds and I feel great. I have more energy and I am so much happier than I was a few months ago. For me, this is not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. I lost the weight with moderate exercise (walking), eating more protein, no sugar and very little carbs. You can lose the weight and the Atkins Bars do help.I just want to add to that if you going to try the Atkins Diet, in my experience, it has to be a lifestyle change more so than a diet. I have been on this diet before and as soon as I started eating carbs again, I gained the weight back. If you want to keep the weight off, you really need to commit to a lifestyle change of no longer eating foods high in carbs or sugar. I'm not saying that you can't treat yourself once in a while, but for the long term, it has to be a permanent change in your eating habits. This is just my opinion based on my experience with this diet. I am not a doctor or a nutritionist just a regular girl who has had experience with this diet.
