You could build a better one for the same price.
Terrible quality. I'd return it, but we went through the effort of putting it together, and I'm fairly certain if we started taking it apart, it would just crumble. Wood came split and breaking, one piece was warped beyond recognition. The type of Cedar they used is of poor quality and porous, so one wrong move and it'll split in half. Plus side is that the porous wood is lightweight. The pieces were also poorly cut, so did not fit flush. The plastic corner covers did not fit correctly as a result of the mis-cut wood.The entire thing is also unfinished, so if you plan to have it outdoors, I highly recommend putting on some sort of waterproof finish, like an oil-based polyurethane. Otherwise, it will rot within months, and become a serious hazard to children.For the time being, we'll keep it until we're able to build our own sandbox. Pretty disappointing for the $130 we paid.

3 year old loves it!!
We gave this to our 3 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She played with it the whole day and woke up early the next morning to play with it again. It's easy to assemble and arrived on time. The cover is perfect for shading the kids while they play in the Texas heat and it also keeps critters out of the box when it's closed.She loved it so much we bought another one to keep at our house for when she comes over.

This isn’t necessarily a bad review about the product. I just opened the box today and one of the pieces was bowed by about 4”. Two other pieces were broken and I just gave up at that point. Completely understand broken pieces happen, but how does quality control not catch a bowed piece?

Love this sandbox! Worth the money....reasonably priced and very sturdy and holds the sand well. Keeps my child entertained for hours!

Nice sandbox, great canopy/cover!
One of my daughters preschool friends had this sandbox and we absolutely love it! They have been using it all summer. The shade is perfect in the az sun, and the sandbox fits 3 kids no problem. We are planning on getting one for our daughter for her birthday. It will get plenty of use year round here in the desert. Will update with durability at a later date.
