Easy installation

The product was reasonably priced. Delivered in a very timely fashion. Product was easy to install & no control wiring to transfer switch as units work off of frequency.

THANKFUL ON AMAZON

Turns out these SMM are high failure items for some. 8 years until one on the pool equipment took a dump.Didn’t think I would find them here but did, and reasonably priced so I bought a replacement for failed unit and a spare.Generac brand part.Good stuff Maynard.

Works great staging loads whenever the generator is running. Stopped the lights from dimming as different loads start and stop.

Needs better documentation

Works as expected, but the documentation needs more information. 1. There are two switch positions for the adjustable time delay that are not documented - the number "0" and the number "9". What happens if they are used? 2. What is the frequency tolerance for the SMM to release the relay (e.g.- open up the circuit)?
