Quality tool. Bought to replace my previous Dremel that I had for many years before finally dying. I can't live without one. So many uses and solutions to problems. This new one has some great design improvements on the old module. Mainly: the on off switch is much better more robust type. It was the switch that failed and put a final end to my old one. The lock button also improved so it cannot be accidentally pressed when tool is running a great improvement. I think this is very good value compared to other makes. Comes with good selection of bits, brushes abrasives etc.

Should have purchased one years ago, very useful, have sharpened edge trimmers/ scissors, polished jewellery the starter pack enables you to do all sorts of things which are not possible with a normal drill.

I have a cordless Dremel but needed a bit more sustained power to be delivered over a longer period. This Dremel is perfect for that need. It has a good length of lead making it easy to use in most areas of my workshop. It came with a small selection of bits and cutters so was ready for immediate use in a matter of minutes. I ran mine for 25 minutes or so. It didn't get over hot and didn't suffer any loss of speed or power. Arrived in a nice storage case. And because it's a Dremel the bits are strong and durable. Very pleased with it so far.

Awesome tool. Happy to have it, but was deliver without the collet, which is kind of critical - the tool is completely unusable without it. Cannot believe that Dremel would allow this to happen.And according to various other reviews I’ve read this seems to be a fairly common issue.Have to say though that Amazon were absolutely brilliant in resolving this issue for me.In this case I would truly give their Customer Support 5 stars.

This whole kit is a great tool, the drawer was a bit stiff at first! But after using a bit has smoother operation. The selection of items was perfect for a starter kit and the accessories great but a better instruction manual would be an improvement.

This is a replacement to the 4000 model I had before. I burnt out the motor on the 4000 due to not following the instructions properly upon using the bendy extension application. I'll be more careful with this, expensive mistake. So, if improperly used it'll over heat and burn out or catch fire.With the bendy extension (before i ruined it) I managed to cut off bent exhaust manifold bolt on a classic car that no socket or spanner could get off. Been used to grind out metal work on car body using appropriate grinding tips. Cleaning up alloy fluid pots etc.Having had one and then broken it, I had to buy another knowing how useful it was.
