I bought this on a whim to store and portion lard rather than butter as advertised and I've got to say I'm happy with my purchase, only down side is that the outer lid just its on top of the grate rather than clipping on. It fits two packs of lard and having it ready portioned after slicing it through the stringed lid has meant it's easier to get just the right amount out.

Lid doesn't fit with or without the slicer I would have sent it back had my partner not used it before I got home

The lid didn't even fit onto the dish, terrible product and had to send back.
