This came up on a you tube channel, a pastor's wife, and I followed along. Very simple and easy to read and study. I really needed it and loved the ideas behind it, the scriptures. I highly recommend this

I love how this Bible Study journal doesn't tell you what to think about self care, but it helps you to discover for yourself what the written Word of God and the living Word of God (Jesus) have to say about it. When you discover truth that way, it is so much more powerful!I like that there are designs to color on each page, because coloring helps to quiet your mind so you can focus on Jesus. Writing the daily verse and answering the questions pertaining to each day's Scripture challenge you to look at the verses with a new perspective, and see things you might not have seen otherwise.It is a large book, with pages the size of regular letter size copy paper, so you have plenty of room to write. I love that the beautiful, full-size coloring pages at the end of each chapter can be copied or cut out and framed after you have colored them.Be sure to sign up for the bonus kit JoDitt mentions at the front of the book! Wow! So many amazing goodies! And the bonus Ask Jesus Workshop is very helpful to learn how to use the Ask Jesus and My Response boxes for each day of the study. It helps to give you confidence that you really can hear from Jesus for yourself!

I seldom actually consistently do studies like this one. But this is easy and personal. Often I start and don't continue. I am loving JoDitt's "I am enough self care bible study and coloring prayer journal". The Lord is revealing to me things I need to know about myself. I love the first instruction is to color the daily title banner (I use colored pencils). This relaxes me and prepares me to "hear" the scripture as I write it out and pray.Thank you JoDitt for this study.

Update: I still love this journal but I wish the daily drawing and the chapter/day were in reverse order. See my last picture. Because the drawing is so close to the binding, it makes it difficult to color the right edge of the drawing. This causes me to get frustrated when I’m drawing, which is just the opposite of what I should be doing with a “self-care“ journal.Original:Each day starts off with coloring. The journal says “this simple act will help you to switch on the right side of your brain, which will make it easier for you to connect with the heart.” I enjoy coloring and doing it better journaling helped clear my mind of distractions which prepared me to journal.After coloring, you read the verses on the journal and write them down. Then you record your observations in the box below. Writing the verses helps me get more out of them than I world by just reading them. On the next page there is a section that says “ASK JESUS” and it has a question for you to ask Jesus. Under that, you write Jesus’s answer. And after that, you write your response. I really enjoyed going through this and look forward to the next day. I got a lot out of going through this process. The Lord revealed things to me…. Both good/special and things I need to focus on.I definitely recommend this journal!

The very first portion of this workbook was for a verse in Genesis - I can honestly say that I have NEVER gotten anything out of Genesis other than words that are difficult to get through. I genuinely look forward to my new nighttime routine where I can journal and color and reflect on my life in general, as well as my relationship with Jesus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is a perfect journal for devotional time. The scriptures are revelant to self care. The designs are beautiful, fun and calming to do. There is plenty of room for gratitude entries and affirmations. Highly recommend this beautiful coloring journal.
