Extremely easy to put together. As soon as it was done, both of my cats wand to jump into it. The male won. He seems very happy with it. My cat is about 13 pounds and completely fills up the "bed". It's not large enough or the cats to stretch out in, but they sleep in a curled up position when they sleep so it's big enough for them. If you have a really large cat (say 20 pounds and up) it will be too small.

Snowball loves to sleep in it. When we go to the airport to pick up her daddy , she rides in it.
