Issues in the first edition
Likes: The book contains a lot of the elements necessary for critical thinking.Dislikes: The book asumes objectivity is posible from the first page, the arguments often lack logical rigour and flow, there are a few typographical errors, and there is no index or biography at the end of the book. The book should place some emphasis on starting points and, given that it is an introduction, give more specific examples to see how the theory can be applied. This first edition needs a rework.

Not worth the money
This book was a very basic overview of critical thinking. I know it's a beginners guide, but it was also full of typos including a difference in spelling of the author's name on the front cover and the first page. I did get a few ideas out of it - so not a total bust, but I would not recommend this for purchase.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in this book. It was very elementary in the subject of critical thinking, it didn’t go much deeper than giving definitions and basic overview. Not to be overly critical here but it is not well written and you can tell the author doesn’t have much experience in writing or editing. Some sentences just didn’t make sense and there was trouble conveying the message. I would recommending skipping this book!
