Good for the price.
I love this concept for a hatchet! It is rough cast, probably cast in a sand mould but it's very durable so far with rough use. I literally tried to break it right away by smashing pallets, pulling nails and cutting thick branches, it does come fairly sharp but the tip of the head is a bit thicker than a regular hatchet so it doesn't cut quite as well but adds to the durability, not a bad buy for the price.

No-nonsense versatile tool, indestructable.
The design is a classic of efficiency and flexibility. I carry one in my car along with other safety devices.

Poor quality of multitool hatchet
While there is something lacking to be expected of a $35 multitool hatchet from China, the replacement I recieved (thank you to lister for quick turnaround) was no better quality wise. Just an FYI. The tool will def serve its purpose, but keep it dry, wear gloves when using it (grip vibration and paint chipping) and don't expect a return to deliver a different quality. Cheers.

Hey well made multi-purpose tool
I bought the tool because of its multi-functional aspect. It has enough weight to be functional but not too heavy to be a burden. In the survival situation you need tools that have multi-purposes.

its not made for heavy construction and daily use
it is a perfect tool to keep in my truck for certain emergencies as well as a good preppers tool

Outstanding, for the price!
This is exactly what I have been searching for in a camp tool. It has just the right combination of hammer-chop-pry-size-weight-cost to go outdoors with me for a long time. And, at under $15, I can give them to my buddies, as well. If I had to complain about something, it is quite dull. I couldn't possibly care any less. I'll sharpen this thing up in no time. Once I put an edge on this thing and beat it up a bit, I'll complete this review. I just might add that 5th star.

Best customer serrvice and multi tool on the market
I had an issue with my order and customer service fixed it far beyond what was necessary. This is the perfect weight 2lbs which is the heavier weight I needed. Amazing customer service and thank you for helping me.

Unstoppable stench of burning tires, as well as dodgy build quality.
Let's talk about the odor. The vile smell that tempts you to open Dante's Inferno to figure out where it belongs. It does not diminish, it does not finish out-gassing at all. The smell transfers to your hands, then to your clothing. It is only marginally affected by soap. It is sticky, like bubble gum stuck under a desk 12 hours earlier. By itself it's a deal-breaker.The quality is more subtle, because, after all, this is designed to be no better than "nearly good enough for the job, but my employees won't steal them. I confess I didn't have any crates handy to try them on, but the claw looked too thick to pry with or to pull nails with. The blade has only a token grind on it, too thick to cut much. The hammer is too rounded. And it doesn't look or feel like a piece of metal I'd want to put under stress: as many Harbor Freight customers have learned the hard way, paint can hide a wide variety of failure points.Did I mention it reeks? Ugh.
