Ease of use
This stuff is so easy to work with. I’ve been installing tile for over 30 years and this is my go to for underlayment. Easy to cut, easy to lay and makes your tile installation much faster. No more Durock! Just don’t cut corners on the installation instructions and you’re good to go. I like buying from this company because there prices put HD to shame. Will definitely buy again and again and again. I think you get the point!

Schluter Ditra 5/16th uncoupling membrane is perfect
Great product, easy to install over OSB. Plenty of Schluter videos available if you need to know the exact process for your specific situation. Now my bathroom floor and my new 3/4” thick wood floor will meet perfectly at the doorway thresh hold

Expensive, but makes for planing out my 3/4" hardwood floors perfectly with my tile with no over mudding required. Saves time to put in OSB flooring + Ditra XL vs laying a ton of hardibacker on top of OSB or plywood floors. Plus it weighs very little.Tip. prefill waffles the night before you tile and let dry. Then next day you can walk on it and tile right over. I will never use anything else (other than maybe Ditra Heat for my next bathroom or tile floor applications

Easy to install. Much better than using Hardibacker on floors. You will use a bit more mortar, but worth it.

Have utilized this product for every floor tile installation. Will never use anything else. Several years and no crack or flaws in the installs. Just great products!

It can be a challenge to fill the deep waffles, trowel, and lay the tile (but filling the waffles and letting that dry can certainly make that easier!).Matched up perfectly to all of the surrounding 3/4" hardwood flooring.It was also a HECK of a lot easier to carry this 26lbs roll of underlayment vs. almost 500lbs for cement board. My back and aching muscles have to be worth **something**. :-)

Great stuff but expensive
The media could not be loaded. I didn’t like the price but used it anyway as a waterproof isolating membrane in my bathroom and kitchen tile jobs.
