Easy to assemble
Was a fun and an easy upgrade with the aluminum upgrade kit lived driving around and having my dogs chase it gonna try to build the buggy next

This kit pulled me back into the RC world!
Left the hobby more than a decade ago. This kit pulled me back. Now I'm building another kit, a Tamiya XV02 pro chassis (still deciding which rally body shell to put). For beginner with eyes set on future racing, this kit can take you there. Upgrade bearings and shocks immediately. Kit already includes a TAMIYA Brushless ESC TBLE-04S (TAM45069) and a TAMIYA RS-540 Torque-Tuned Motor (TAM 54358). The ESC is more than enough and will help you learn the ropes fast, from brushed to brushless, from NiMH to LiPo (tutorials available online). Moreover, this kit is not a RTR (Ready To Run), so you'll need to research further which Transmitter AND receiver, Servo, and Battery to use. Lastly, the body shell...it is Tamiya 1/10 RCs are well known for.

Good for beginners
The set was nice a easy to build but the only thing that I was kind of disappointed about was that all the parts are plastic and you can't scenter the steering, meaning that the car won't go in a straight line not matter what you do other then getting a better steering system. But overall the set was nice a easy to put together and most importantly was fun to use. The diffuser was home made and the light were not includes in the set but i did find some that work nicely: -QUE-T 17mm 2 LEDs Angel Eyes & Demon Eyes -ShareGoo 4Leds LED Light

All plastic including drive shaft
Sturdy plastic easy to build had finished in a day. Painting and stickers took the most time. Fun build fun to play with. Pretty fast for stock but would need faster motor

The front dog bones pop out constantly
Could be a much better product if the dog bones in the front didn't pop out constantly. If you really want it to be a decent car you have to spend a ton of money in upgrades.

Not accurate description
I received this exact item as a gift and was disappointed. It was not as described. First the body was prepainted white not clear so I can’t paint my own color. Next esc not included as stated in ad. The motor that is supposed to be included in this kit is the torque tuned motor but this kit came with a basic silver can. Tires are slicks, not road tires. Foam not included. I won’t buy any rc kits from Amazon now. This just doesn’t seem like it’s 100% right. Haven’t built the chassis yet but I’m sure I’ll find things not right there also. Go to tower hobby and save yourself $ buying the items that should have been included in this kit to begin with.
