I purchased this product for my mother who is receiving home hospice care. Home health care aides “wash” her hair as best as they can with shampoo caps, but nothing feels better than actually getting your hair and scalp washed and rinsed thoroughly.This product worked well and she was able to get her hair washed and conditioned. There was a bit of leakage at the neck as we tried to get the base of her hairline in the back but unless you had something custom sized for one’s own neck, I don’t think it could have work any better. The hospital bed still had a slight tilt when flattened as far as it could go so that contributed to the neck area slightly leaking as well.We were proactive in planning for possible leaks. We placed a waterproof mattress pad overtop of her clean sheets and then we placed a folded blanket on top of the mattress cover at the head area of the bed. The basin was placed on top and then we placed my mother’s head into the basin. When we were finished, we just had to collect the mattress cover and folded blanket to reveal her clean, dry sheets. The upper back of her night shirt was damp but we were ready with a clean, dry one.Overall, with planning and preparation to handle any leaking from the area where to neck is placed, this product worked as expected and my mother was so happy to get her hair completely washed.

Very useful for my adult son who isn't able to access a regular shower due to an injury. Wish the neck hole was a bit wider, as he's a big guy, but we're making it work.

The Inflatable shampoo basin is a must have. I purchased this basin to shampoo my sister's hair. My sister is confined due to an illness. I was able to use this inflatable basin to wash her hair. Great idea!! I didn't have any problem with leaking. It's easy to use and clean. This basin is great for anyone with health issues.

Although this item is inflatable, it still sturdy enough to lift up with some amount of water in it and carry it to dump the water out. Although the drain hose is nice to have, it is much easier to empty by simply carrying it to the sink. It was also very easy to inflate.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this one because it looked well-made and the price was goodFunctionality:The product works well, but the area where your neck goes needs to be adjusted. If you have a short neck, it doesn’t fit well in that space.

I was feeling like I wasn’t really washing my girl’s hair properly because she is constantly moving and complaining about water in her eyes, ears and everywhere else. I tried a visor and she still complained. In comes this wonderful inflatable tub. When I say my baby has never been so calm for hair day EVER. And she has a lot of thick beautiful hair.I used the hose for drainage initially and then I attached it to the faucet and made a hose. The water still drained from the valve into the sink and I got a soft hose to wash out the suds.AND when my arms got tired I was able to rest them on the tub and keep going.

Love this bowl! I have long locks and this helps me detox my hair every time! No water spills out like the other inflatable bowls that I have tried.
