Did the job
I didn't expect much from this to be honest, but I'll be darned if it didn't do what it says it would do. 2010 Club Car Precedent at speed code 3 with 22" tires and a 6" lift. The cart goes 15-17mph up and down hill. It has the ADC motor. The magnet was ridiculously easy to install because of the lift kit. I found the old one was broken! The cart now still hits 15-17 uphill, and tops out at 21 down or level. The magnet eliminates or suppresses regen braking, so be careful at first. For what Little I paid for it I am VERY pleased. Now I just have to get the cart to Speed Code 4...Update: It will go 21 MPH on level ground or downhill, just a tap on the pedal and I do get regenerative braking at speeds under 15 MPH. Sadly I have an older controller and can't get to speed code 4. :(

Gained 3 MPH
was very skeptical if this would make any difference in the speed of my cart but for the low price, decided to give it a try. My cart went from 12-13 mph to 15-16 mph so it does increase your speed. For me, it also took away the regen braking whenever going downhill. I did not know it would have any affect on the regen. Happy with purchase.

It Worked!
Skeptical like many others, thought it might be snake oil, but for 15 bucks and with Amazon's return policy I figured to give it a try. 2011 Club Car DS with IQ drive went from 13-14 mph with full charged batteries to 16-17 mph with 3/4 charged batteries on level ground, without a doubt will do over 20 downhill, be careful as you lose the reverse charge braking with the magnet. You only have your rear brake to rely on. Uphill seems to have a little bit more oomph. One small caveat I had to use an electric impact wrench to get the magnet screw off while holding the magnet with soft jaw pliers, DO NOTt use an impact wrench to install the new magnet or the speed sensor body

Magnet installed orientation
When I first installed the speed magnet It did not work. I removed the magnet as I was going to return it. I noticed 1 side had 2 dots and the other has 4. Not sure if the dots represent the poles however decided to change the direction of the magnet.2017 Precedent / lift kit with 18 wheelsPrevious speed - 18mphAdding Speed Magnet2 dot side facing black speed sensor - 18mph4 dot side facing black speed sensor - 21mphI have no idea if the dots have anything to do with the speed sensor or not, however it worked for me. Increase in overall speed + torque.Thank you hope this helps.

Did not affect speed....but had another problem
Installed fairly easily, but cart was doing 14 before and after the swap, so I took it out to return it.But..........before I took it out, we were driving it and it stopped on me several times. When I'd push pedal full down, it'd start, then about 3 secs later it'd slow, then stop completely. Let off the pedal, try again, same result.I called my golf cart mechanic who said he'd heard of this happening if there was a small crack in the magnet, even a hairline crack that's barely visible.I saw no crack in this magnet, but I returned it anyway because it did not help the speed as advertised.

+6mph on my 2017 Club car precedent
In my 2017 club car precedent with the ADC 48v motor this magnet along with a new speed sensor added 6 mph. I have stock wheels and tires. With the stock magnet and original speed sensor I would get a max speed of 12 mph. With the new speed sensor and this speed magnet I got 18 mph max speed. Measured with an iphone app. One issue though was the acceleration was real jerky depending on throtyle position. So I put the original magnet back on with the new speed sensor. Max speed dropped back down to 12 mph. But the acceleration was smooth. The jerkiness perhaps could be due to something else. But since it went away after reinstalling the original magnet I decided to leave the original magnet in. If anyone has observed the jerkiness behavior and figured out what the issue was i'd appreciate hearing about it.

IT WORKS !!! and it works well !!!
This magnet DOES work if your'e at speed code '3'. (Stock). Also it eliminates the Regen/engine brake which allows more free-wheel and ground speed. I have put 4 of these on ClubCar IQ's Code '3'and they all worked well if they were stock speed code'3'. This magnet is much cheaper than the $125 most cart shops charge to install speed code '5', which is 19mph. The download is available, PER Cart S/N if you're a dealer for $60 from CC. But you need their programmer... , but for us who have stock carts, it's totally worth it ! I got 20mph with a 21" tire on the rear ! (stock is 18.5"). You should see an increase in 2-7 mph total, with the engine brake disabled, be careful on long downhills! Enjoy this magnet, it will work for you if you have a stock 48v ClubCar IQ motor.

make sure to install in right direction
could only get 8 km per hour out of my 2005 club car president , this product help me to obtain a top speed of 27 km/hr , excellent product

No worth money I paid.
Magnet makes cart accelerate uneven. Only time it goes faster is downhill. On slight incline cart actually goes slower.
