I’m so glad I found the EPIC Venison Sea Salt and Pepper Bars! These are by far one of the best savory snacks I’ve tried—lean, flavorful, and satisfying without being greasy or overly salty, I think. However, some may think the spice is a little too much. The venison is tender and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of peppery kick. I love that they’re Keto-friendly, Whole30 approved, and gluten free, so I can stay on track with my health goals without sacrificing taste.Each bar is individually wrapped and super convenient for on-the-go—whether it’s hiking, road trips, or just stashing one in my bag for a quick protein boost. You can really taste the quality and care in the ingredients. No weird fillers or fake flavors—just clean, high-protein fuel that tastes amazing.Highly recommend these to anyone looking for a wholesome, real-food snack with bold flavor. EPIC really lives up to the name!

Those who sit on the sofa will say they are too salty/taste funny/and are a bit peppery...but if your a trail plowing hard working outdoor crazy person they have the salt you need and the pepper for muscle straining and protein for repair...WINNER!! and they even taste different after a good hike to the far side of the lake...funny how that works. GREAT STUFF but remember to add the water sufficient for processing to balance these power houses out...dilute them a bit inside with good water for the best benefits.

Bacon Bars:I've been getting these on subscribe and save for a while and specifically chose this item because they did not have any type of added sugar. While mine always seemed dry, the flavor was good and I could deal with the dryness seeing as how I finally had a filling, no sugar snack to carry with me (and it tasted like bacon - even better!).Today I opened one from my most recent delivery and took a bite, only to taste a sticky sweet, pork flavored bar. It was so different, I wasn't sure if there was something wrong with it. I noticed the label read pork + maple bar, so I wondered if I was sent the wrong box. No, the company switched the product formulation and tried to pass it off as the same thing! My "100% sugar free...15g of protein" bar transformed into a "100% Natural Pork...8g of protein" bar. I also noticed the sodium increased to 590mg, from 330mg in the previous bar.I am extremely disappointed and have no desire to eat this new bar. It IS more moist, but I honestly don't like the flavor. I quickly cancelled my subscription and will not order any more products from Epic, as they no longer have items that work for me, nor do I feel I can trust them. Have been buying these Venison Bars for several years. They are great to use when traveling, require no refrigeration, pop into your pocket, especially for long flights! Have tried different flavors and disliked all except this Venison version. They are dry and a little spicy so will need water but the low sugar and no dairy, and gluten make them a good fit for those of us with dietary challenges. Wonderful for camping, too. I pair them with Aloha Chocolate Mint bars which the Two Bars Together provides 26g Protein, 11g of Fiber and only 5g Sugar. There is a 750mg Sodium but ok unless you need to limit salt intake. Highly recommend Venison only version and Aloha Bars are incredibly tasty! The chocolate mint version of the Aloha bars will remind you of Girl Scout Cookies with only 5g of sugar and a whopping 10g of Fiber!
