This Wolfe paddle is a newer design with a sinner handle that doesn't get in the way of the paddle's sweet spot at all while still being extremely sturdy.Other low cost panels break after only a few months. This one lasts and performs well too.

These paddles are solidly built and have held up great. Definitely feel better weighted and play than other wooden paddles I have used. Still planning on jumping up to aluminum, but these have kept me from being in such a hurry.

They are exactly as ordered and are perfect for beginners and we are beginners. We haven't used them long enough for five stars but they are really made well.
