EltaMD Laser Enzyme Gel Moisturizer Cools and Moisturizes, Post Treatment Gel with Hyaluronic Acid for Dry Skin , Dermatologist-Recommended, 2.0 oz

I used this because the sample size of an aftercare lotion that the Dermatologist gave me only covered me for 2 days. I needed something that would cover me for the week. This product is amazing in calming the skin from burning and itching. It does have a cooling effect. I am on day 5 of using this and my skin is improving and healing remarkable fast.The only thing I do not like is it's not a very good moisturizer. But, that's ok, because I can use my sensitive skin moisturizer on top of this product. (*note: wait until this product dries (5 minutes) before putting moisturizer on. I noticed that the product clumps if it does not dry fully).

I ordered this before my last resurfacing and it didn't come in time. This is my second resurfacing and I gave it a shot. It made recovery much better and less uncomfortable. Ask your doctor before using it but mine said it was okay. You still feel like you have a sunburn but feels more like a minor sunburn instead of a major one. The first two days of recovery are the worst for me but product allowed me to heal without as much discomfort.

The BBL and Halo facial procedure is somewhat painful and makes your face extremely hot. (The results are worth it.) This gel may be the same as the gel mask given to me by the medical technician following the procedure. I highly recommend getting this product. You’ll be using a lot of it because, after the initial stinging, it feels so nice and cool. Keeps your face moisturized and seems to help reduce the extreme redness just a bit. I am really liking the elta md line. Expensive but am pleased with the performance of each product I’ve tried. I would definitely recommend this product.

It works! My skin is super fussy and I’m allergic to fragrance so I’m very limited in products that I can use. I’m trying to hack back my lush chin beard with a home laser device and so far I’m getting surprisingly good results. But I definitely needed a layer of cooling, protecting gel as I go right to bed after and rubbing my freshly-lasered face against my pillow can’t be good. Once I finish blasting my skin, I cool off with cold water and then apply this gel. It’s fragrance-free, not greasy and actually works! So far no break-outs or adverse effects. You’re definitely wearing a heavy gel on your face, but you’re probably not going to any garden parties right after lasering your hair, so it’s all good. Definitely recommend!

I had laser work on my face and ordered this thinking it was the ointment type I was supposed to get. This is more like an aloe vera type gel. I kept it any way because it does help cool down my face the first day after treatment. It does not keep it super moisturized like the ointment does, so I have to use both.

First warning, it is definitely travel sized. It definitely goes a long way though and good if you're working with small areas. Great for small areas, but you might wanna look at a bigger size if you're doing legs or full body.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE EltaMD products!! This gel is incredibly comfortable for the skin! I have been using this after my at home chemical peels as well as a soothing treatment to my skin. Love it!!!
