I bought the meriwool for my grandkids who are sensitive to wool, and found that both tops and bottoms are smooth and soft and not a bit itchy!

Q: Would this be warm enough for skiing in 20-30 degree weather with ski suit over?

Yes! My kiddos were in the snow for two hours with this under snow bibs... the key is thick insulated boots and great socks

Q: How do the sizes run? Do they shrink? Looking for a skinny kids whose height is spot on for age.

It does shrink a little if you put it through washer and dryer. I got a size larger and it fit fine after normal washing. I don’t have the time to hang dry every time I wash it.
