Because I’m old AF, Activewear really isn’t my jam. I prefer a more classic look for every day. However two life events took place that made me change my mind. The first was a 17-pound Pandemic weight gain. If I had a dollar for every bag of tortilla chips I consumed during the last six months, I would be able to afford to move back to NYC! And not have to work! The second event was cataract surgery ( and yes-when you get old it’ll happen to you!). Forgetting about the impact this pandemic has in connection on healthcare, I recently had the first of two cataract surgeries. Dopey me. I wore a little black dress thinking I would have to change in a hospital gown. Instead, I had to wear my lbd during surgery! Not wanting to expose my gorgeous panties or worse, a blanket was placed over me.Needless to say my thoughts were “NFW am I wearing a dress to my next surgery”. And so, I let my fingers do the walking over to Amazon! And I found these leggings/ pants/ activewear thingies. Oh am I thrilled with them!Regardless of my expanding hips, thighs and gut, I went with the Medium. At 5’6” and 157 lbs, the fit is fabulous! My gut is sucked in and the high waist is super Post-menopause friendly! I’ll admit, these could be a tad longer in the leg but it isn’t a deal-breaker!The fabric is thick and opaque so you can keep transparency for your personality rather than what you’re wearing!And these have pockets!! Holy Cannoli! Pockets! When I go back for my second cataract surgery, I can slide my insurance cards and IDin one pocket and my cell phone in the other! This is epic as purses aren’t allowed at the surgical center! Who knew that this activewear would come in handy as surgical attire? And I can work out too! Well, I’m lazy so let’s just say I can walk my dog in these pants!The price is right, the fit is flattering and fabulous Nd I need another pair! These are great! I absolutely love THE GYM PEOPLE High Waist Capris Yoga Pants! The fit is perfect, offering great support with the high-waisted design that also provides excellent tummy control. These are well made and comfortable. I am short (5' 2") though and they don't come as low on me as they do on the model in the picture. They're a couple inches below my knee. Not a big deal for me just an FYI if you're looking for something else. I was a bit disappointed in the color. It's described as "silver"/white/gray but there is absolutely no silver on these leggings at all. No sparkle. They are white with pale heather gray on them. Again not a deal breaker just not as described and disappointing.

These are very nice. The material is wonderful. They stretch but they fit perfect. They’re very comfortable. I’m sure but I have not worn any of them. The material seems nice. I just haven’t been going anywhere to wear them. I don’t go to the gym anymore, but they will be nice for the gym.

These are great for walks / workouts when I want to carry my phone hands free. Pocket is large and fits phone easily. Pants are comfy and soft. Pattern is fun as well. I sized out for better fit. Wear XS bought S and it fits great.

They are TTS, super soft & wash great. However; they don’t hold their shape & begin sagging with little walking. I choose to wear them for a long car trip instead of the trail walk. They are great if you are just looking for comfort.

Ordered previously. Tried another brand and came back the The Gym People because of softness and fit. I’m 5’2” so a bit longer than a capri but not too long that it reached my ankles. Like the pockets. I tend to keep my leggings for years. These will probably not last as long as my Zella ones but will be worth the cost for 2-3 years.

I ordered two lengths, Capri and long. I decided to keep the long and return these because I currently have too many Capri leggings. The fit is perfect and the material is fantastic and they don't wrinkle. Beautiful!

Me encantaron!!! Para empezar la presentación es súper linda, vienen en una bolsita. Me gustaron xq a lo lejos parecen leggings brillosas, pero son de algodón! Súper cómodos!!! Pedí XL xq no me gusta que me queden apretados, creo que una L hubiera estado mejor, la tela estira mucho. La tela se siente súper suavecita. No se bajan, no se transparentan, puedes hacer sentadillas sin ningún problema! Realmente superaron mis expectativas! Voy a comprar más! Y las bolsitas son un súper plus! Súper recomendable

I was pleasantly surprised by these capri-style leggings. They fit well and are thick enough to be non-transparent.I am usually and Australian size 14 or 16, so I ordered the X-Large. I reckon they would just about stretch to fit a size 18 and might be a tad too loose for a size 12. Meaning that, as stretchable clothing, they're good for a reasonable range of sizes.
