Better than old bay💟
Was looking for something new , something like old bay but not quite. I have this a try and wow, it did not disappoint. It's my go to seasoning 😎

This is a fantastic seasoning.
This seasoning is so good and versatile. I add a little bit to my chicken breading. It's great on baked catfish and salmon.

Excellent spice for almost anything
This spice mix is great for almost anything, but especially for seafood and chicken. It is also excellent for flavoring fried vegetables, and stir-fry dishes.

It’s good
This tastes very good. I’m giving 3 stars because my bottle was crushed and there is no expiration date and there was a sticker over another sticker. When I tried to see what it was it was destroyed. I don’t know what that’s about

A new brand for steamed seafood…
I came across Tone’s Chesapeake Bay seasoning at a Sam’s in Alabama while evacuated during Hurricane Ida. I only ordered one out of curiosity because I’ve never heard of a Chesapeake Bay seasoning. I’m upset that I wasn’t more risky. This stuff is absolutely divine for us seafood lovers. It can be overpowering when heavy handed but it does give life and awesome flavor to just about any dish. Thanks to Amazon, I was able to find this Old Thompson brand which is fabulous. What I love about this brand over Tone’s, is that it has more spice and a much bolder flavor. Now, while I'm not a native New Orleanian, I have to say that I’ve come to appreciate the various flavor profiles extracted from spices used here. When it comes to both Chesapeake Bay and Old Bay, they’re both great on steamed, boiled, broiled or even baked foods; however, Old Bay is not the same since McCormick bought them from Baltimore Spice Company years ago. The original “real deal” Old Bay was spicier and had more flavor. Somehow, McCormick’s version is more powdery and leaves an unsettling aftertaste to me. I haven’t completely discarded it, I just use less of it and blend with other spices.I bought two on here and glad I did. Even though Old Thompson is a bit pricey, I plan to purchase more, it is worth it.

Taste like old bay seasoning
Pretty good but its a little spicy which they don't mention it tastes a little like old bay seasoning but old bay has a sweeter taste I'm thinking about buying old bay seasoning and mixing with the old Thompson's seasoning and that will probably take away that spicyness because spicy foods makes me very sick overall the Thompson seasoning is pretty good.
