Generally I don't leave reviews for something that already has so many positive reviews, but I want to share a tip.I have sensory processing disorder (SPD) which means I have an extreme reaction to certain sensory feelings. Certain touch, sounds and tastes are like nails on a chalkboard that I can feel to the bone.I was worried this would irritate me itself, but it didn't at first. If anything it's a little place for me to fidget with my thumb.However after a while, the semi jagged edges where I used scissors to cut the coil started rubbing against my inner fingers. (To be clear, they aren't that sharp of edges. The coil is made of a very flexible gel substance. But rubbing in a sensitive area over and over starts to irritate the skin.) The place it was really starting to bother me was the soft skin on my pinky, in between my ring and pinky finger. I couldn't ignore it any longer after a couple weeks.I tried to put a flame against the edges with a lighter, to melt the edges down, and it worked like a charm. It was a little more stubborn than I thought it would be but it still worked. I can tell that it loosened the grip on the ring a tiny smidge, but the ends aren't getting caught or fraying away from the ring. So I think it's a wonderful fix if you don't mind the slight discoloration on the ends.As far as how I feel about this product:This is absolutely ingenious. I'm so glad I found it. My ring couldn't be adjusted, and even if it could it would have cost more than the value of the ring. But this ring is very special to me.My weight fluctuates a lot. My jewelry box is filled with rings that are either too tight or too big most of the time. Because of this product I'm going to choose bigger sizes from now on.I've had this on my ring every day for about a month now. I expect I should have to replace the coil every 6 months or so, due to discoloration, wear and tear, and hygienic reasons.If you're trying this for the first time I would recommend trying different sized coils in thickness. See how it feels on your finger for a while and then try a different one. The thinner coils fit my ring better because the ring is tapered thin at the bottom. But I found the texture of the thin coils more distracting and also more weak.I love the variety offered in this kit. I love the price. You can absolutely make it work as a permanent solution. It doesn't have a bulky feel and it doesn't diminish the look of your ring (unless it has designs on the underside). Another positive is that it's not getting gunked up like I was worried about. I'm not seeing food getting caught in it or grime because of how tightly wound it is around the ring.My only unanswered concern is if it will eventually tarnish the ring due to moisture being trapped inside. I will update if I see anything like that. But to avoid that altogether I take it off when I'm washing hands or exposing my hand to moisture. Just to be safe.In conclusion: this is a clever, and wickedly easy option to resize a ring. I will be buying again. 10\10.Fun fact: if your ring has opal you should NEVER wash dishes or hands with the ring on. Opal is fragile and exposing it to water, temperature changes and soap can actually cause the opal to crack easily. If you have to wash your opal jewelry, do it at room temperature. Try without soap. That's something I just learned thought I would share here.Hope this was helpful

They're good and functional. The sizes fit as expected, comes with variety to fit any thickness of ring. Easy to use since just sits inside ring. Pretty comfortable. They're color is clear so can be used with any ring. The little edge that goes over is a little weird because they're not completely flat around but it's not uncomfortable.

I have a unisex/men's ring regarding Ephesians 6:10-18. It only comes in a size as low as 8 which is either too big or too small for my fingers. I don't want to cover up the text as that is the purpose of the ring. I have tried several other options to fix the problem but all are self limited. This is great. It won't break, lose adhesion, eventually stop helping. It holds the ring snuggly and fills the void to my finger snuggly. It's great!

They sort of work, but they don’t stay in place and the ring rolls around on my finger.

I love these and so does my husband! I was getting the metal ring size at the jeweler and it kept breaking after 628 months. And of course it was costly. These are fantastic. I’ve not had a problem yet and I’ve had it over a year. Highly recommend!!!

Bought these over a year ago, still have so many left and they work great. Fit me and a couple family and friends I’ve given them too for their rings, you can’t even fill the piece is there it’s so comfortable.

Ten Stars. Excellent product if your ring is a bit too large. Easy to install, protects the outside back of ring, very comfortable. Great value as well. Highly recommended
