I was very worried when I received this, not sure how our 2 senior dogs would take to it. At first of course both dogs were unsure and scared of this "thing", so neither would go on it. I followed the training video with "training treats" and one of our senior dogs, (whom I purchased it for) caught on perfectly after a day. Now he loves it and automatically goes up and down like a superstar. Our other senior dog still will not. I love how it has several different heights you can change it to, love the removable mini banisters it comes with as well. The only downside, is the platform isn't the greatest for dogs to get a good grip that they feel comfortable with. Our dog would slip every time, so that was preventing him from wanting to use it. I had to put a towel down over the ramp so that he could get a more reassuring grip. Also if it was just 3-4" wider, it'd be perfect. I find it too narrow. Small downside really. Also I think this particular ramp is only meant for smaller to medium dogs. Overall, I am thrilled with it!

I’m so happy I purchased this ramp! I had been looking for sometime before I came across this one. My two biggest problems before I found this was the steepness of the ramp and aesthetics, this ramp checked both those off. It’s perfect for my couch, in my opinion this wouldn’t work for a bed unless it was very very low. You need to look at the rise and the run, the higher you put the ramp the steeper it becomes and your dog isn’t likely going to be able to go down it comfortably. Had a little off gas smell to it, but it went away after a few weeks. Very happy with my purchase, and so dogs my 11 year old dogs joints.

It’s not very tall. If you have a higher bed then it won’t be effective. Super easy to assemble although the guide rails need to be glued. Otherwise they pop out.

It is sleek thus not a monstrosity. Well constructed with a good non-slip pad. The black colour blends with most decors. Our small dog (18lbs) quickly learned its purpose and uses it to access and leave the couch. Very satisfied with the purchase. I would find it heavy if I was moving it to and from the bedroom but I am a small person. My husband would not find it too heavy.

Comes ready to use! super sturdy and has many hight adjustments that can be used. Our dog is 68 lbs and there are no issues with it holding his weight.
