J.K. Adams Maple Pro-Classic Board, 20x14

After spending nearly $70 on a cutting board for a Christmas gift for my dad, I was surprised to see it drastically warp after just a few weeks of use. We had to throw it out as it was too unsteady to use with the top and bottom of the board curling up. We were outside the return period by the time this happened. Would not recommend. Very disappointed.

Like the board, but it warped very quickly after we bought it. We never submerged it in water, nor dampened it excessively.

Board is very nice and heavy. Comes un-treated. Purchase a mineral oil or conditioner of your choice to make it right.

Low quality. Warped within one week of using it.

Every cutting board I've had, I have had to put "feet" under it to keep it from warping and getting mold.This is no exception. You can use chair leg sliders (for slippery floors, the sliders don't slide, they have friction) or you can use "bumper dots" which have their own adhesive but you will need to reinforce the "stick" with epoxy.Get bumper dots without the little nibs on the end or just cut the nibs off (bumper dots cost about four bucks for fifty, google them).Anyhow once you have done that just about any breadboard will last a long time. And no, I don't understand why the manufacturers don't do this. I guess lots of people like to lean their boards against a wall or something, if you do that it dries out and you don't get warpage.

I love the size of this board. You can slice, dice & chop a meals worth of veggies on just one board. It’s solid and hasn’t warped or cracked or even shown much wear in nearly 3 yrs. of regular use. I highly recommend this cutting board.

I had read good things about this cutting board and I was disappointed to find that after 2 months it began to warp. It has never been sitting in water, we'd wash it and let it dry upright. Not sure what made this happen but hard to recommend based on this experience.
