Austin AirF200B Small Pre-Filter, White

Purchasing and installing a new pre-filter has made a big difference in the air filter's ability to purify the air. It was MUCH cheaper than buying a new filter, and cleaning the machine was easier to do while its "guts" were removed. The pre-filter is cut to fit perfectly, and installation was simple. Even so, $22 seems a bit steep for a wide strip of thick, white fabric. That's why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5.

They fit very well and came promptly. I returned them because I realized that I already have two of them and so theStore took them back without a problem. Too bad that I was charged A restocking fee.

The filter is too thin and flimsy that it gets caught in the screws when putting it back together, and the filter material twists and kinks. Tried it many times. Then paid the handy man to do it for me. He got better results, but it still couldn't go in as well as the original filter, which was more sturdy.

THis came ontime and fit into my Austin Air Puifier perfect. I really needed the pre-filter changed and you could tell the difference as soon as I changed it. Will buy again

This filter is precut so that it fits the HEPA filter perfectly with some overlap to keep it in place. Does a good job.
