Nicely made laptop popup-up tent!
Well built, nice reflective silver color, this is very much a pop-up tent for your laptop. Study enough where a light or small fan could be hung from the top. Inner pouch for papers/magazine/reference guid/maps and a left-side access port. My 15.6 inch Thinkpad fits securely (just barely) and with the even bigger docking station that fortunately juts out to the left. Fortunately the access area for cables and such aligns with my docking station and my fan exhaust. It is curved essentially so if your heat exhaust is rear facing just have the laptop up a couple inches and the heat will still be evacuated. It would be nice however if there was additional access for other laptop designs. This would comfortably allow 2 people to watch a video outside on a sunny day without having to hunch down or anything. Just like a regular pop up tent, it does take a little skill to get it back in the frisbee-sized pouch. With a really light laptop though (i.e. Macbook Air) the fact that it is curved on the bottom might be an issue. My laptop is so huge, heavy, and flat, with a docking station to boot, that's not an issue at all, but with small lightweight laptop and all this surface area I could easily see this absolutely blowing forward on you if you stepped away. This is actually stylish and convenient and easy to use enough (due to its tall vertical clearance...no hunching needed) that I'll probably leave my laptop in it often even at home.

Inexpensive, folds away for easy storage and pops right back into shape… perfect!
I love this product! I’m a full-time grad student and spend tons of time on my laptop but I much prefer being outdoors when at all possible. This laptop shade works great for shading my screen from the sun. Inner pockets on both sides, in various sizes, are great for keeping my supplies handy. Also, the product has a larger outer pocket on the right side. When I bought this product I was unaware that it comes with a cape that velcro’s on across the top that you can flip over behind you to fully enclose the product since you and your laptop to completely block out the light. An outer pocket is available for storing the cape when you aren’t using it. Inexpressive, easily folds up to take up very little storage space and pops right back into shape when you’re ready to use it. I’m pleased with the functionality of the product, especially for the economical price. It does the trick! If you’re looking for a product to block the light reflection from your laptop screen, I highly recommend this product!

Works great!
The only thing I dislike about this tent, is that it was pretty pricey. It works great!Keeps the laptop cool, makes it so I can actually see the screen outside, and has a great amount of pockets inside as well. I also use the pocket up top (if it is a pocket).Makes it super easy to have everything in the tent and be able to just pick up the whole tent and move everything all at once instead of making multiple trips.Has side slots for cords too which work great.Haven’t folded it up yet, tried once. Failed miserably but didn’t realize there was a direction card sent with it. Will have to try it soon. It’s also great as a conversation laugh because it does look slightly ridiculous and alien like lol

Great idea - makes working outdoors on my deck a breeze
I knew that this product was a great idea immediately after I saw the listing online. Having used it for a couple of days, I have to say that I am not disappointed. A few things I love about this product:1. It allows me to work on my deck in the bright sun without my laptop being at maximum brightness. Reduces glare and allows me to work longer outdoors.2. It is lightweight and twist-folds down to a small flat disc that I can store in my closet when not in use.3. A bunch of thoughtfully designed features like a cushioned base to protect my laptop, flaps for charging ports, and a reflective exterior to prevent the unit from accumulating heat in the sun.A point of improvement for future iterations of the product is to include some instructions on how to fold the unit properly. It took me some time to figure out how to twist it properly to fold it down.

Highly Recommended!
This has been game changing for working outside during COVID. It perfectly blocks out the sun glare from all directions. It’s also waterproof and protects my devices in the rain.I’ve tried the black laptop shades from other brands and they caused my laptop to overheat in the sun. The silver material really helps to reflect the heat and light, allowing my MacBook and iPad to stay cool. Some useful features are the privacy hood for extra darkness, and the interior pockets are great for stashing my external battery chargers and headphones. The tall shade makes it a great viewing angle from above (if I’m using it on my lap) or at eye level (if I’m using it on a table outside). The folding instructions are on the label and it was very easy to follow. It’s very light and I love that I can carry it with a handle or toss it in my backpack on the go. I can’t wait to travel with it and use it at the beach.

Doesn’t fold up. Manufacture video instructions validate this
This product has such potential! If you leave it unfolded after you first open it, it’s worth the money. Let’s face it, it’s meant to travel and thus needs to be folded and stored. Good luck making that happen. The video they direct you on YouTube it edited so that at the critical step that is needed to know how to fold this up is actually edited out. All they’d have to do is film a quick video that shows how to do this with out editing the crucial step out. Something tells me it’s not possible and that is why the video is not helpful. My guess is they show folding of one shade and then a second clip of opening a second shade but filmed in reversed to make it look like it’s the first shade folding up. Don’t waste your money!
