Riega Yellow Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix, 1 Ounce (Pack of 8)

I AM GLUTEN INTOLERANT. My palate, my body and my pocketbook don't appreciate money spent trying a new food item that might be worth the effort...and, literally, the cost to the ol' body. Riega's Yellow Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix has made a former old favorite, macaroni & cheese, once again an old favorite. I can -and do - now enjoy "instant" macaroni (gluten free of course) and cheese any time! Thank you and I shall order again...and again...and again....LOL

I love this powdered cheese! I use it to make (or to add even more cheesier flavor to) mac n cheese. Have also used it on veggies and as a popcorn topping. The funny thing is that I had a packet for a while and never knew how good it is. (We got a packet in one of those food sample boxes probably about two years ago. It sat in the cupboard until last month when I finally opened it.) I have bought powdered cheeses before from a couple different companies and they aren't very good. This one is by far my favorite. Plus I love that it comes packaged in individual packets instead of a plastic tub. It seems like it stays fresher longer. A little goes a long way so all of these packets should last me a while.

I thought this was going to be a great gluten free find, but the taste is terrible. It tastes sweet and not like cheese at all.

Thank God for this product. Sometimes you just want some yellow cheese powder mac & cheese and when you're gluten-free you might as well forget it-unless you get this product. I've tried brands that come with the pasta, but they never seem to have gluten-free pasta that I actually like. I use these packets with the Sam Mills corn pasta and it tastes just like kraft used to make.

This product is great...it allows me to use my own gluten free pasta versus the boxed mac n cheese where the pasta is so mushy. Great taste.
