Attachment for Compressor
My husband built a cart to hold his compressor and this attachment was perfect for the hoses. The cart now has everything needed to function and be mobile in his shop.

Do not buy to make this into a pressure washer hose reel.
Yeah this is not safe my exploded after a hand full of uses. Not safe to make into pressure washer hose reel

It is absolute garbage! (for pressure washer use)
This may work fine if you're using it for compressed air only. I was following what others had done and converted it to use on my 2800 psi pressure washer.So the one fatal flaw is that the threaded brass fitting that threads into the reel and provides the feed source from the pump to the washer hose, has only 1/4" of actual threads. Therefore, there is only 1/4" of the fitting connecting inside the reel input port.With the very high pressures being fed using just a basic everyday, light duty pressure washer, during the very first use, about 10 minutes after installing it, the hose fitting popped out of the threaded fitting on the input and basically stripped the threads, rendering it useless. Since it is beyond the return date, I am 'hosed'. Pun intended.

Saved $10 with "like new", nice item with a couple of issues
There are some things I had to deal with before I could assemble it. The spring that goes over the hose to prevent it from kinking was a hair too small to go over the pressed on fitting on my hose. So I had to get out my small angle grinder and gently grind down enough brass to get it to slip on. Also, the fittings on the end of my hose do not turn, so I could not screw it into the large swivel fitting on the spool without spinning my entire 50ft hose several times to get it on. I used snap-ring pliers to remove the swivel fitting and got it on that way, then re-attached it. Made a few trips to the hardware store to get various fittings, but seems to work great so far and keeps my hose up and out of the way. Well worth the $38 I paid for it.

Not for pressure washer!!!!
It clearly states 300 max psi. Those of you hooking it up to a pressure washer at minimum are running 1800 psi… no wonder they broke on you it’s an air hose reel not pressure washer reel. Read what you buy before leaving reviews

Description errors
Not according to the description. Actual product dimensions are: W- 10.75 in, D- 12.75 in, H- 10.75 in. Also I purchased this as is stated that it can be made portable by removing a pin. There is no pin to make it potable and the manual does not reference one either. I have installed it even though it is not portable and it seems like a solid unit.
