Great Audio Mixer & Livestream Console for Beginners, but Software could be Better
I got this mixer in order to use just one pair of headphones for my work Mac, gaming PC, and PS5. So far, the audio sounds great, not distorted, and without static.I use my Mac as the source computer where I’m able to configure the buttons and touchscreen using the Avermedia Control Centre. It works according to what I need, but it’s true that you can’t resize the window of the app.For a non professional streamer, this is a great option since it uses 3.5mm ports and not L/R jacks. This means I can use my regular consumer headphones and mic without having adapters. The on/off switch is very useful especially when I don’t use it to power off the device. It saves the dial colour and volume levels even when not connected to the source computer (my Mac) so I can use it with my headphones when just using my PC (image 2).Unfortunately, the touchscreen seems to stutter and discolour on occasion rendering it useless.

I really like mine. Now in 2022 I think it's a good product
Frankly I really like mine. I've been using it for a few months now and I think it's an incredibly useful tool.I sold my GoXLR and Stream Deck and replaced them with this product. I have no regretsI do want to say that I bought the Nexus months after launch in late 2021. My experience with the product is different from those who purchased it at launch.I mostly just wanted to save on deskspace, as the GoXLR is way too big for what it is in my opinion, and simplify my setup with an all in one solution.Perhaps my stream isn't as complicated as others, because for me this works perfectly for everything I need. My microphone (AT2035) sounds better through this interface then it did through the GoXLR. Granted I've gotten better at compression and eqing over the months, but the point stands that this sounds really good. At least with my microphone. I love having a little screen with useful information right in front of me. Having Twitch chat, and viewer count on the screen is brilliant. A quick glance down from my gaming monitor and I can read the latest message from Chat. I have a 2 pc streaming setup, and this controls and routes the audio together perfectly for me. I do miss the routing table from the GoXLR, but having an audience mix, and a creater mix is a more powerful tool in my opinion. Now there are some things that could definitely be better. I really wish it had Xsplit and Voicemod integrations. Xsplit does a better job then OBS at capturing certain emulators, so I like to use it from time to time. Not being able to control Xsplit though the Nexus is a big bummer for me. From time to time I'll need to reset the unit because the audio is bugged. This has happened a handful of times, and never during an actual broadcast, so I don't really sweat it. However, I know some people definitely will, so I wanted to point it out. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I think having Stream Deck functions, and GoXLR functions in one unit is lovely. I give it 4 stars only because it doesn't feel complete without Xsplit control, and I do believe it needs the ability to lock the submixes together so you can control both at the same time.I think the hate is misplaced, but I bought it months after launch, and it's a much more complete package now.

Digital Optic Input Breaks Easily
Overall, the equipment works well. The touchscreen with the ability to do scene switching and starting OBS/Streamlabs OBS reduces the need for a StreamDeck, and is a great bonus to mixer for a dual computer setup requiring audio. The biggest issue is in the Digital Optic input. At the start, the input is a great way to monitor the gaming PC and streaming PC through a single point. Solid seating and connectivity. In just over one year, the input housing broke apart, not allowing the DO cable to connect and remain seated in the input. I ordered this device because I can use a DO cable for the gaming PC to have clearer quality of sound over the AUX input. Personal preference.

*Updated* Poor software
Great quality when it gomes to the physical interface but the software is the death of the product not worth it because of that alone*update*They have made the software open source which has allowed many upgrades.
