Fully Insulated & Top Notch Quality
This review is for Orca Tactical MOLLE Water Bottle Holder, Black, (ASIN: B01KN66QJO). This listing does not portray this water bottle holder correctly. It is actually a fully insulated water bottle holder. The fabric is very high quality. It uses premium YKK zippers. The carrying handle is padded. The MOLLE straps, layout, and buttons are very good. The metal D-ring hooks are also very good. Included is a very nice, adjustable, padded, shoulder strap. The one thing I am surprised by is the metal clasps on the carrying strap are a bit chintzy. There is a small Velcro flap in the top flat that allows you to run a straw through. The side pocket is also insulated and has an elastic strap that allows you to secure two items. This is a very premium product. The one item I don't understand on this is the zippered bottom. Based on the listing photos and that they show a bottom drain grommet, I thought this zippered bottom allowed access all the way through the sleeve. Instead, it is just a tiny, zippered pocket with an elastic strap inside. The elastic strap is pretty loose, so I don't know what it would hold. The bottom pocket is also insulated. There is no drain grommet in the main compartment, which presumably would be the area that could build up moisture. However, since the main pocket is insulated, I wouldn't want an opening into it to reduce the insulation capabilities. The whole reason why I bought this bottle holder was because I thought the zippered bottom allowed a full passthrough, which is what I needed for my application. I have no problem recommending this premium MOLLE water bottle holder to anyone looking for a good, insulated, versatile water bottle holder.Update 9/11/2024:I just ordered another one of these. The MOLLE straps were spaced too far apart to get it to attach to a MOLLE backpack. Also, the buttons for the MOLLE straps were different than shown. The bottom of the button was on a flap instead of on the bag.

Portable cooking station size for jetboil flash.
My rig. Army life.I will be using this for XTC3 for 5 or 6 weeks. With my jet boil, I can store up to 450gr of fuel (2 tanks*100gr and 1 tank*250gr) though I ended up putting a small wash station at the bottom instead since this is for a month-long venture, and I will have to wash my close-by hand. I also have foldable utensils that fit into the side compartment and will store maybe some soap in this as well. So, for a portable cooking station, I get 350gr fuel, a small sink, a coffee press (jet boil), a spoon, fork, spatula, and soap. The material is okay, it is not the top brand but for the price, it is well-made. Everything works as described. The Molle lining is... okay, it works well and holds tight as it should, just a little tight to squeeze the slots together. If you wanted a better hold, I would just cut the straps off and put Molle tabs on the inside to get less wiggle from the bottom (better for rucks and long hikes)Also, there is a small hole at the top that resembles a water hole in the top of camebak, so you can run a water line and maybe drink water out of it without opening the lid, or make a tiny shower. idk it is caping, be inventive.

This is an excellent pouch!
At 11 inches by 4.5 inches overall, it isn't quite as big as the Maxpedition (12x5) but at less than half the price, it is a great alternative if you need extra space over the majority of 4 inch diameter pouches. That extra half inch makes a real different if you want to carry the Stanley Camp 24oz. Cook Set. Other bags are tight but this one fits perfectly without snagging on the cook pot handle. There's still a little room to wrap a cleaning cloth or stuff a few other items in beside the cook set. There is another 4 inches of room on top of the Stanley pot for whatever other items you would like.Of course, you could always use this as a hydration pouch, but that's boring, isn't it? There is a straw/tube hole on the top for that purpose, and all the stitching seems strong. I don't see any loose threads or other defects. MOLLE straps and snaps work as expected. The main compartment is only 10 inches tall so take that into consideration if you are trying to fit an extra tall bottle. Orca includes a small compartment on the bottom that's about 1.5 inches tall that will fit 8 oz tins such as 8 oz Metal Steel Tin Flat Container with Tight Sealed Twist Screwtop Cover (6 pack) or similar. This is one of those design features that makes it stand out from other H2O pouches and while I don't mind, I'm not sure if the space would have been better used by adding another inch or two to the main compartment to hold either more stuff or taller water bottles. The separate compartment may be perfect for someone and I'll definitely use it so it isn't a flaw or a problem.Orca used YKK zippers for those that care. I have other bags with zippers from different manufacturers and I'm not convinced there's a big difference but I read a lot of reviews that rave about YKK so there's that. The zippers do have the same color as the bag instead of the bright shiny metal and don't stand out so that's a plus. The shoulder strap is effective and has a nice pad that is adjustable. The pad is thin compared to typical laptop shoulder straps but you aren't supposed to carry pounds of equipment in the Orca pouch so this pad is just fine. The clips and D-rings aren't quite as thick as others, but are more than enough to hold the bag and several pounds of stuff, if necessary. The strap clips are the worst thing I can find about this bag, which isn't all that bad, really. So, if you need a little extra space compared to 4 inch diameter pouches then you won't be sorry with this bag.
