These are excellent. Grandchildren really had fun doing them.

These are really fun for me, and I'm an adult. The images are pretty cheesy, I wish they had better, more varied designs, but they're fun nonetheless. I find that doing these engravings really helps me clear my mind and de-stress. They are super easy to use, although if you haven't had any experience with engraving / etching it may take you some practice time to learn the correct technique. I'm an artist, so my 7 year old has had access to professional art supplies since the day she was born. She can use an x-acto knife with 100% precision, but she found it difficult to use this engraving tool. I will keep buying them, just because they are so soothing to my brain after a long, stressful day. The photo shows the bear piece in progress - you can see the guide lines, and what I have already done, with a very shaky hand!

Quality product for a great price. Always appreciated by the people I have given this to. Great for multiple ages.

I used these for an art class with developmentally disabled adults. I was a bit nervous because they often have difficulty with fine motor skills as well as patience in learning new techniques. Yet, the students LOVED these, embracing the new activity. And they turned out really beautiful, even when the picture was not followed exactly. They are a bit expensive to be able to do them often but were worth the expense for a one-time experience. Thank you.

These don't scratch well. I've done a lot of these in the past and never had any issues. Not sure what has changed. I will not be buying any more.

The wolves and the Ram look great. I would have given this a 5 except for the bear. There seems to be a manufacturing issue with the bear. In several places, the foil appears to be missing. Even a light scrap brings forth white cardboard instead of the expected foil. This was not my first try at these things. I thought it might be me so stopped trying to work on the bears and moved to the wolves. That came out great. So tried the bears again - still getting cardboard in areas - some small some not so small. put to the side and tried ram. Came out great! Easy to work - just as I had hoped for. Back to the bear - still issues. I gave up on it. I also bought the one with the elephant and giraffes. I will see how that group goes and report back. It might just be an isolated issue.
