Liked the quality. Solid cutlery

I’ve put these through the dishwasher maybe twice now, and they’re covered with huge rust spots, pretty undesirable qualify for a utensil meant to deliver food to my mouth! I’m shocked, it never even occurred to me that someone might sell flatware that rusts. This has been such an eye opener, truly Amazon only stocks cheap crap.

I bought Henkel Madison set because it was on sale. A big mistake. it was nothing like what it looked like on the website. Very cheap looking and sharp on the edges. I returned it and bought this Lianyu set in Matte finish. What a looker! The muted silver color is absolutely gorgeous and expensive looking. At a fraction of the price, to boot. Forget Henkel, Oneida or any of the name brand. Just buy this set in Matte finish. You won't regret it.

Initially drawn to the sleek black finish of this cutlery set, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. After just two rounds in the dishwasher, the once-stylish black hue transformed into a peculiar mishmash of faded colors (see pics for the differences now seen). While the functionality remains intact, the unexpected and rapid color change raises concerns about the durability of the finish, and the safety of the metal in the cutlery I may have ingested. This cutlery doesn't have a lasting aesthetic appeal, and customer support has been non-responsive to my concerns, leaving me questioning the overall quality of the product and suppliers. If you're in search of enduring style in your kitchenware, this set may sadly not be the ideal choice.

I do like the set but unfortunately these are not a matte black finish they have a finish more like a brushed nickel finish but just darker and almost black and not exactly what I wanted at all so I was disappointed as they were bought for a gift! If they were a true matte black finish I would be the happiest customer ever and buy more, they're really nice the weight is great but not the finish I wanted at all, so I'm very disappointed in that! I had already gift wrap them and mailed them so there's no chance of returning them and getting what I paid for as by the time that they get mailed back to me it will be past the time frame for returning them so I kind of got screwed on this pooch!
